I'd be OK if it was earlier Sunday rather than late. I'd have 3 drafts going around the same time Sunday evening at this rate.

I'm a little behind, but everything looks good for the draft from my side.

Ok so six votes for Sunday. That's 50%. If I can get one more vote for Sunday then we will have a small majority and I'll officially move it to Sunday.

Re: DVDTalk All Star Fantasy Football League 2016

Great that makes 7 people. I'm going to officially move the draft to 5PM Eastern 4PM Central on Sunday August 28. This is my first time around as a league commissioner. If anyone has any questions or concerns feel free to pm me or post in this thread or on the league's message board.

Good draft, guy. I'd certainly listen to offers for Antonio Brown.

Man, in the future, the number of bench spots needs to be reduced. This league has way more than average. The waiver wire is going to be garbage most weeks, and people can stash players they have no intention of playing and only have them on their roster to keep other teams from using them.

There's eight bench spots now. How many would you like 6?

Re: DVDTalk All Star Fantasy Football League 2016

I had a bad feeling about picking 9th and it was confirmed. I'll be ok, but if Jamal Charles doesn't return to form or AP finally comes crashing down I'm screwed.

Yea, or even 5. I just don't like the idea of people hoarding players. What's done is done, but in the future, the # of bench spots should be reduced.

Re: DVDTalk All Star Fantasy Football League 2016

Agreed. Some of the autodrafters look like they might be in trouble as far as running back depth goes. Actually, the autodraft in general was really weird. Drafted one team Gronk and Reed while another got Bell with only one backup rb. Anyways, feel free to send offers for Antonio.

Re: DVDTalk All Star Fantasy Football League 2016

Why the heck are there people in our league still doing drop/add when they are already eliminated from the playoffs?!?!

I had a backup player I really wanted to pick up for the playoffs, but instead he goes to another team...that is out already out of the playoffs. WTH!
This is one of the reasons why I suggested we make members pay for doing drop/adds. Guarantee he wouldn't be doing useless drop/adds if it costs him.

You're not talking about me picking up Hill are you? I'm still in it if three teams lose and I win. Points scored is the tiebreaker.

Also, it was incredibly difficult to field a twelve team league this year. I think we would lose owners if we charged for drop/adds. I'm in a work league that charges for drop/adds and the commissioner always has a lot of trouble collecting the fees at the end of the season.

Re: DVDTalk All Star Fantasy Football League 2016

Not in the league but think it is great that teams out of it are still trying and not just laying down to the other teams in playoff contention. I hate when I need a team to lose to make the playoffs and they are playing a team that has checked out for a month.

Ha-ha! My bad. I didn't see that you had that chance to still make it in. Can't blame you for continuing to fight to claw your way into the playoffs. You should already be there, but the last three weeks have been tough!

I have had some rough matchups this year too. Look at the "points scored against," and you'll see I have over 300 more points scored against than the league's first place team. I guess I bring out the best in other teams. LOL!

Good luck to you this weekend!

Re: DVDTalk All Star Fantasy Football League 2016

In one league where I dropped out of the running, I stopped making moves, but I still want to field a competitive team. Last week I picked up a couple players but waited till after the waiver deadline.

I'm third in points scored and I needed to pick up a good flex since I have both Mariota and Murray on bye. If the teams in 6th, 7th, and 8th place lose and I win then I should be in. Luckily those three teams don't play each other. Anyways losing to you, by .8 pts will probably keep out, but I'm going to go down fighting.

Re: DVDTalk All Star Fantasy Football League 2016

Also, barring any many scoring changes this week, Chaos is a Ladder is our top scorer with 1241.3 points. Craptastics are second with 1211.58 points. I will be sending the $15 top scorer prize out next Tuesday 12-6 unless somehow the scores are really, really close after week 13 and a stat correction could change them.
