Re: 2016 Summer Olympics - Rio

Good for Mike.
"A question for you. Would you rather Bucknell make the NCAA's once every 20 years or so and get ass raped by teams like Kansas in the first round or have them drop down a rung to a confernce where they can compete for a title?"

Re: 2016 Summer Olympics - Rio

Hope he is in good health.

That sucks and it makes you feel older with this news. I remember when he did NFL Live the Sun pregame show in the late 80's and early 90's with OJ and Will McDonough.

He won't be doing football night in America either but he will do Super Bowl 52 in MN since Tirico will be covering the Olympics.

He will serve a Tom Brokaw type role where he might occasionally serve as a contributor.

This video is a tribute to Bob.

Re: 2016 Summer Olympics - Rio

All the stories say that Costas cutting his work with NBC is allowing him to do more work with MLB Network. So, he's not exactly preparing for retirement.

I don't really watch MLB Network, but I know he hosts some of their documentary specials and does play by play on occasion. So he's still going to be around for baseball fans.

I assume you are referring to the 2024 olympics. 2022 is a winter olympics.
