So far so good with the streaming. Love that WP is an outdoor venue.

Re: 2016 Summer Olympics - Rio

Great News - Congrats to Ginny Thrasher (United States) for winning the Gold Medal in Women's 10m Air Rifle!
Bad News - United States Mens Water Polo loses their first match to Croatia 7-5.
They return to the pool on Monday, August 8 - 10:40 am ET - vs Spain.
United States Women open their bid for Gold twenty-four hours later on Tuesday, August 9 - 10:40 am ET - vs Spain as well.
(I agree with Red Dog - likes that WP is outdoors.)

United States Women Rugby playing on NBCSN now. Unfortunately they open up with Fiji - already down 7-0 - 5 mins in.
Update - Final - Fiji 12 United States 7.
United States Women next match is at 5:00 pm ET vs Colombia - who is playing their first match of the Olympics right now vs Australia.

Go Jake Kaminiski and United States Archery this afternoon! their run for Gold begins at 2:15 pm ET on MSNBC.

I had no idea women played Rugby. Watched the USA game. Very short game which given the sport, makes sense.

Fiji is supposedly a rugby power.

Those cobblestones during the road cycling looked like an awesome pain in the ass.

France surprisingly down double digits to AUS in MBB.

USA BB lines today/Sunday:
USA (M) -46.5 vs. CHN
USA (W) -57 vs. SEN

Parlay?

Glad we're getting some live events on the cable side. Hoops, Soccer and Tennis all appear to be live on NBCSN, MSNBC and Bravo.

The main network gets tape delayed Cycling.

NBC tries to justify the west coast delay for primetime but there really is no excuse for it on the weekend morning/afternoons. There's no Today Show to protect.

The road race is insane. 6 and 1/2 hours.

France is playing like hot garbage. I thought that they were one of the better European teams.

Bogut just drove in for a wide open uncontested dunk.

Canadian girls looking good on the pitch. Up 3-0 at the half, but it's vs Zimbabwe.

Next match vs Germany will be the test.

Not a fan of beach volleyball, but that little stadium they built on Copacabana is pretty awesome.

I watched the Beach Volleyball match. That was a good turnaround by Brazil after a sluggish start.

I'm sort of familiar with Agatha and Barbara and they're one of the best pairs in the world.

And they just beat Brazil 38-0. Had no idea we were any good at rugby 7. Looks like Canada is ranked 3rd in the world. Match against GB should be good.

Also I was scratching my head when the commentators said teams have to play 6 games in 72 hours. Until I realized it's only two 7 min halves, and the entire match takes about 30 min which makes for good/quick viewing.

Re: 2016 Summer Olympics - Rio

3-0 but hard fought win for USA WVB in their opener.

If I could root for one gold medal for USA, WVB is it. Never won it and have lost to BRA the last 2 times in the gold medal game.

Re: 2016 Summer Olympics - Rio

The NBC app is garbage. It errored out around 15 times during the opening ceremony and today while watching a replay of the France/Australia game it has to buffer like every 2 minutes. I have great internet and don't have buffering on anything I watch stuff on. Not to mention I've had to watch 20+ unskippable commercials just in the first half of the game.
