Cowboys at Packers could be Ice Bowl 2. Never saw that first one cause I was pretty young but that NFC championship game was really cold that day which the Packers won.

The Ice Bowl is my earliest (and vaguest) football memory. I do recall being upset because Bugs Bunny was on at the same time and like any sensible family we only had one TV. I don't recall specifics of watching the game itself, but after seeing how excited this got everyone during and especially at the end of the game I was hooked, and was ready to go for Super Bowl II. After that, a quarter century of fan futility followed. So no, I don't feel spoiled since 1992. I put in my time after getting on the bandwagon just as the wheels sheared off.

I hope the Cowgirls and Seattle lose and then Green Bay loses in the NFC title game.

Cowgirls can't wait to play Green Bay.

It was replacement refs, but there was a pretty well known one against the Pack.

I figured he was going for the collective, but whatever. (and it's "Rodgers")

Is there any way for both Dallas and Green Bay lose? That would be my ideal outcome.

It will take two weeks, but that is what I expect to happen.

Ice Bowl was -12 and it was windy as hell so much worse. Early forecast for Sunday is 15-20 with light winds and only a slight chance of snow.

Heck I woudn't mind very windy with snow. Packers D is 23rd against the run and we all know what kind of football wins in those conditions.

More of a non-call on the last play of this playoff overtime loss:

I meant when the Packers are on offense obviously.

The GB run defense ranking is a little misleading for how they are playing now. Over the first 8 games they were allowing 153.5 yards per game, but over the last 8 they are allowing 86.4 yards per game.

Stats like that are always relaly misleading. How many of those teams in the last 8 were even rushing the ball the whole game? How many of those teams even made running a priority in any game?

I think GB will win, but it will not be because their D shut down big D.

Weren't the Packers scoring big through a stretch of those games? That'll put a big dent in to rushing yards.

That was bad, but at least it provided us with a classic Gerbschmidt bit.

If chalk is boring, hasn't been some time since they weren't boring?

That would be the pits. I'd have to root for the freaking Panthers out of that mess.

I think it'll be all the home teams, from least likely to lose to most likely to lose:
Seahawks
Patriots
Broncos
Packers
