Zach Martin should win ROY. Not only is this the 1st time in Cowboys History than a rookie OL made the Pro Bowl, but he just made All Pro. Unfortunately, OL isn't glamour enough and OBJ will get it.

Re: Official 2015 NFL Off-Season Thread
I think it's no surprise that offensive skill players get most of the headlines, just like they do for the Heisman, and fantasy football has just increased that. I don't watch enough football to know who the best rookie is, but Beckham was incredible this year, and the highlights he puts up in the social-media era will probably push him over the top. I'm OK with this. If Martin doesn't win ROTY but continues to make All-Pro and has a long, successful career, I think he'll be fine too.

Eagles news re: Chip Kelly
Eagles' announcement: Chairman and CEO Jeffrey Lurie today announced a new structural change for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Howie Roseman will be elevated to the role of Executive Vice President of Football Operations and will continue directing contract negotiations, salary cap management, and NFL strategic matters, while overseeing the team’s medical staff, equipment staff and more.
Head coach Chip Kelly will now oversee the player personnel department. He will also lead efforts to hire a new personnel executive – a process that will begin immediately.
“We are a good football team and we believe these steps will help make us a great team," said Lurie. "That step - from good to great - is the most difficult one for any organization to make. To do that, sometimes you have to step back and really look hard at where you are today and what you want to become."
Roseman has been with the Eagles for 16 years in a variety of roles - as general manager since 2010.
“Philadelphia is my home and the Eagles are my family. My number one goal is to help bring a championship to this city and that will never change," said Roseman. "I believe this will solidify the trust we have all placed in Coach Kelly."
Kelly, who was hired as the Eagles head coach in 2013, has had two ten-win seasons.
“I am very confident about where we are headed as a team and as an organization. I look forward to continue working with Jeffrey and Howie as well as the personnel department," said Kelly.
“This is not a one-man operation,” added Kelly. “It will truly take a team effort to acquire and develop the best football players and then put the best team on the field each week. It will take all of us working together."

Don't be ridiculous. QB/WR/RB always win ROY because they are more visible and have easily identifiable stats attached to them which fans can relate to. Offensive linemen do have stats but they are buried on sites like PFF, and fans simply woudn't care anyway. That doesn't mean that Martin, who made both the Pro Bowl and the All Pro while Beckham made neither, isn't deserving of ROY. It just means that, fair or not, "flashy" positions have more appeal.

Re: Official 2015 NFL Off-Season Thread

We traditionally start the offseason threads when the regular season is finished because for all non-playoff teams it IS the offseason and they start making moves. Plus postseason awards don't wait till after the playoffs.

Since many new coaches and coordinators will be hired before the SB, when else is the offseason discussion supposed to start?

Speaking of, Seahawks DC Dan Quinn supposedly has four HC interviews lined up for this bye weekend. OC Darrell Bevel and OL coach Tom Cable are getting some interest too.

So much for everyone saying the land he bought the other year didn't mean anything.
Not that I really wanted the Rams back between all the options

Jeff Fisher coaching another team that is moving. He probably won't be fired for another two years at least. So he can continue to rack up more 7-9 and 8-8 records.
