Friggin Illinois State and 24 turnovers. Had a chance to upset VCU but gave it up. It'd be nice if some other teams besides WSU and UNI could step up in the Valley with some marquee wins

Dayton Flyers escape Miami with a narrow win over the Redskinshawks. Interesting how the Flyers - whose only loss this year was to UConn - manage to eek out only a 4-point win against a bottom feeder like Miami. I'm hoping Archie can use that to shake the team out of their funk - their next three opponents are 17-1 combined, and one of them (Arkansas) is actually pretty good.

I'm going to the Arizona/Gonzaga game tomorrow, my most anticipated regular season game since the one against Florida two years ago. Gonzaga's going to be the toughest team Arizona plays until the NCAA tournament, and with the slow starts the Cats have been getting off to this year I'm afraid it could turn into a long afternoon.

I'm going to KU/G'twon next Wednesday. Hoyas must be really hard up selling tickets this year. They sent out an e-mail offering half-price 100-level tickets for the game. I jumped on that.

Looking forward to Tex/UK tonight. UK is a 13 point favorite.
