Re: 2014 NFL Regular Season Thread -- Week 12

Nice pass - Orton to Chandler.... Bills up 14-3 late in 2Q.

I was kinda hoping for a FG after the sack on Orton took 'em back to the 20. I need 6 points from Carpenter or a TD from Ravens' TE Daniels to avoid elimination and relegation tonight. I've only got 2, but the way Buffalo is moving the ball I'm feeling like they've got at least two more scores in them - as long as 1 of those is a FG I'm good.

All y'all ARE watching this barn-burner from Detroit, yes?

What's funny to me is that he called "Bend it Like Beckham" a "White guy headline" when the movie was written, directed and headlined by an Indian woman with a heavy focus on Indian culture.

I can never understand what the fuck Irvin is saying. He's either drunk/stoned or speaking a different language.

Woo hoo! Blocked punt, recovered in the endzone Bills!

Lordy, the wheels in New York have REALLY fallen off.

And with the extra point........

Bills pouring it on now. Vick interception leads to a Jackson run. 31-3 Bills - 17 points in less than 5 minutes.

Am I going to get any FGs this week? It seems that whichever kicker I choose, they're underused.

Tampa Bay (2-9) is only 2 games behind for a playoff spot (first place-NFC South)and the NFL wants too add more playoff teams.

Completely unrelated points. As of now, three 7-4 teams in the AFC are outside the playoff picture looking in. Those are the sort of teams that could benefit from expanding the Wild Cards -- nothing to do with a crappy division winner who gets a default, guaranteed playoff spot regardless of their record in comparison to the Wild Card contenders.

Chiefs announce that Safety Eric Berry has a chest mass - diagnosed with Lymphoma.
Hope he's okay. Talented player and seems like a great guy.

Michael Irvin being obnoxious again from last night's GameDay Final show.
Love Michael. Leave the Playmaker alone. Worry about obsessing over the sorry ass Lakers every night.

This is such hyperbole. You really don't understand anything he's saying. That is impossible. I've never had a problem understanding him. He isn't the most polished broadcaster but saying you never understand him is ridiculous.

Irvin was pretty terrible and stupid in that clip, but usually i don't have an issue with him. I like him better then say, Shannon Sharpe as far as guys being hard to understand.

And the circus continues, RGIII out, Colt in, acc'd to ESPN. So much for Gruden's 'intent.'

I haven't listened to him in a while but I wouldn't be at all surprised if Skip Bayless still contends that the Colts made a mistake by picking Andrew Luck instead of RGIII.

Mike Florio just said on Radio that the Redskins may just cut RG3 at the end of the season (it has alot to do with the salary cap). And he said there were 3 teams that would be interested, and one of them is the Eagles and Chip Kelly.

What would be more painful to a Washington fan, him going to Philly and succeeding or St. Louis?

Agreed on both counts. Amazing to me that major networks would hire people to speak, live on camera, that can't be fully understood.

And before people go all on with the BS :racist" comments like they are in the Brown thread, I feel the same way about Cowher and Dan Dierdorf. Unacceptable that these guys on are on at the top of the analyst food chain given all the other equally knowledgeable ex players out there that can be fully understood when they speak.
