Absolutely. I said "Two-time NFL loser? I'll believe it when I see it."

Oddly, one of the things that turned me was the Golden Tate donut incident. Carroll told the press that the situation was serious and had been addressed, then added "I do understand the allure of the maple bar." It seemed to me that he was acknowledging that wrong had been done, but also supporting his player with some light humor, and that made me sit up and take notice. Just a small thing, but it made an impression on me.

And I'll admit I was one of those calling for the Seahawks to start Matt Flynn when they refused to throw the ball early in Wilson's rookie year. I said, "This is a potential Super Bowl team that you're hobbling with a lame passing offense!" You just never know.

Exactly, NOTHING to cheer about, I think I actually got up and sarcastically cheered when we got that first down. Had to let the sting wear off a bit and I'm fine if the better team would've beaten us in a hard fought game, but for the Broncos to not even show up, that is the hardest thing to swallow.

That's the same thing USC fans said when Pete was first hired too...

So you're saying the Seahawks are going to face a loss of scholarships and a bowl ban?

Didn't they already have a PED problem? First vacated Superbowl?

The PEDs and trash talk are the negatives to what is otherwise a very likable team.

I assume that every single player in the NFL is on some type of PED.

Unlikely in light of all of the tainted rings from the 70s on fingers and in graves in Oakland and Pittsburgh, among other places.

Exactly. For some reason the media and fans were so outraged about Baseball players using PED's, but could care less about Football players when pretty much all of them are obviously doing it.

I look at a guy like JJ Watt and how the media fawns all over him, yet there is no WAY he is not taking PED's as he looks like Hulk Hogan from the 1980's.

A rematch could happen so the thread is still relevant!

I hope not, it'd be an even bigger blowout this year.

Seattle has a better chance to make it back than Denver does. Something just looks off about the whole team.

Makes me wonder what inspired search terms that turned up this particular post...

As great as Peyton Manning is, he usually find a way to choke in the playoffs.

I don't follow Denver closely enough to know what's wrong. I know they added a number of high-profile defensive players in the offseason, but their problems seem to be on offense. Emanuel Sanders and CJ Anderson have produced good fantasy stats but I don't know if Decker and Moreno did other things that were better for helping the team win.

Or maybe Peyton is just showing his age. I hope that's not it because I like watching him play.

Denver's OL sucks right now. Manning is constantly getting hit as he throws, being rushed and throwing off of his back foot. With his rag arm, this will continue to lead to interceptions.

The Steelers might beat the Broncos in DEN.
