I was honored to get to spend some time with the cup a month or so back and seeing that final 2 minutes of game 6 against the Bruins gave me goosebumps. Boy what a quick 3 months off. Let's go Hawks!

Scary scene in Montreal. Parros and Orr going at it and big George sorta went over the top of Orr and went face first into the ice. Taking him off on a stretcher.

Back in June, the mayors of Boston and Chicago made a bet on the outcome of the Stanley Cup Final, as mayors are wont to do. In addition to the typical local cuisine, Boston Mayor Thomas Menino wagered "Access to the City of Boston's website for one day, to post a promotional video touting Chicago and its great attractions."
Well, as you probably know, the Blackhawks beat the Bruins in the Cup, and on Wednesday Menino -- and www.cityofboston.gov-- had to pay up.

Yeah, the Hawks PK was friggin terrible last night. Caps got 3 goals off 4 PP's. Ugh. Hope that gets better quick.

I'll take Roy's fire and tenacity any day of the week over what we had last year with Sacco's indifference. I hoping Roy's passion will motivate the Avs this year.
