ESPN is trying to re-hire Charissa Thompson away from FOX Sports.

They want here as a co-host for Mike Greenberg's new TV show launching next year.
I like Charissa but, this seems dumb. They're gonna have several people that could do that already at ESPN when they replace SportsCenter time slots with new shows next year.

Makes no sense that they would try to hire her considering they just laid off a bunch of on camera talent and reporters in the last few months. Most of them were actually really good reporters and not just eye candy on camera talent.

Only thing I can think of is that she's somewhat of a name now in Entertainment news with her co-hosting EXTRA. She probably has a lot of connections and that would be good for a Morning sports talk show.

Because FOX needs more talking head NFL analysts, they hired Eric Dickerson for FS1.

Also on another note, Charissa Thompson quit working on EXTRA and will stay working at FOX Sports in Los Angeles. No ESPN for her future.

Still no word on what the fuck is going on with Katie Nolan. She's been off the air for months.

I would be surprised if she actually legit quit that Extra gig. That Seems like the ideal job that most of the sports pundits would love to end up at. Like Kevin Frasier.

Fox Sports hired Mike Vick as an NFL analyst.

How many fucking NFL talking heads do they need?

Yes she did quit. She made a big post about it on her Instagram in early August.

Frazier already works for Entertainment Tonight. He occasionally does a sports gig here and there.

The NFL is basically all Fox Sports talks about.

Yup, I'm aware Frazier used to work for FOX Sports and ESPN until he became a full Entertainment reporter.

I worked with Kevin briefly from 1999 to around 2001 when he worked at FOX Sports Net. I was a member of the research staff that helped him and Keith Olbermann on their sportscasts.

FS1 has hired former ESPN castoff Danny Kanell as a CFB analyst.

FOX continues to hire ESPN castoffs.

Unrelated, I have a feeling the new Cris Carter-Nick Wright morning talk show that is supposed to air next month is going to be more of the same talking head shit, only at 6am ET. Who is going to be up that early to watch that?

Fox is aiming for one major market - New York City. Their talk shows incessantly cover anything happening in New York sports.
