I just don't get the draw of watching 2 retired wrestlers go at for the second year in a row. That said though HHH is the best opponent for him simply because it doesn't take anyone else off the board for the next 2 months for a one off match.
1) Henry is injured, so he might not even be healthy enough to work a real match by Mania, let alone a match with Taker.

2) This wouldn't be a new match either. Taker beat Henry at Mania 22.

When you look at the big dogs in WWE, he's gone through almost all of them: Orton (21), Big Show (19), Kane (14 & 20), Henry (22), HHH (17 & 27).

That leaves 3 guys that are currently at the proper level: Cena, Punk and Jericho. Punk and Jericho will likely be facing eachother so they're out. Cena is obviously tied up this year, which now looks kind of sad. Booking the Mania match so far in advance has handcuffed the current Cena angle. What if Kane were having Cena embrace the hate so that he could end the streak?

Or even better, what if Cena embraces the hate, then uses that to believe that only he can end the streak and he would have been the one to call out Taker? It would have made this whole Kane storyline that much more interesting, and it may have been a legit reason to end the streak.

Think about it, face Cena ending the streak would be a joke. Evil Cena, embracing all this hate and finally turning on the audience would be the only way Undertaker's streak ending could be made into something important for the business.

For Cena to truly work as a heel, he has to do it full throttle, and there has to be a big moment to the turn, like when Hogan revealed himself as the mystery partner in '96.

They might do it with The Rock in some way, but that just doesn't have the same emotional impact that ending Taker's streak and career would have.

What if they pull a switch-a-roo at WM and have the Cena v.s. Rock match take place before UT/HHH.

Rock beats a 'still face' Cena. Distraught Cena realizes he should have listened to Kane and comes out during the UT/HHH match, which was No Holds Barred last year, and destroys UT helping HHH end the streak.

This would result in:

1.) HHH booking himself to end the streak
2.) Cena turning heel with A LOT of heat
3.) Set up for UT v.s Cena at WM next year
4.) The Rock going over at WM
