You're assuming the human polls remain the same. Although the computer polls are out of the hands of the voters, one need only to look back to Michigan a few years back and how they kept falling once it appeared they'd gather a rematch with Ohio State for the BCS Championship. I have no doubt the same would happen if it came down to Stanford or Alabama. Boise State I'm less certain about, but still think it would happen (provided the computer polls are not too much to overcome)

With the new BCS poll, this is how we will get LSU vs. Alabama again:

Stanford loses to Oregon next week.
Oklahoma State loses to Oklahoma on December 3, 2011.
LSU wins out.
Alabama wins out.

Mind you, in this scenario LSU would be favored by 5-6 points, given that playing in the Superdome only a short drive from the LSU campus makes it an effective LSU home game.

I think the ivory towers at Happy Valley are out of touch with what's going on. Everyone I've heard from - fellow alumni, sports talk radio, - are totally outraged and want serious action. All one needs to do is read the 23 page grand jury findings. I'm just wondering why McQueary didn't go to the police himself. He loses credibility there.

Well said, CRM. Your last point is the one that bugs me the most. Regardless of him doing the right thing in terms of his legal obligation, he had an absolute moral obligation to tell the police. Furthermore, that night should've ended up with two people in handcuffs: Sandusky for being a sick fuck, and McQueary for beating the shit out of Sandusky. As a father of a 10 year old boy, I'm admittedly extremely biased - but I don't understand how you can see what he saw, and then just leave without putting a stop to it.

I think McQueary must have been seriously in shock. He was a grad assistant, pretty young, and saw something that would seriously tarnish the entire program. He chose to tell Paterno in person and apparently in full detail. That seems OK but after he sees nothing is being done, he should have acted.

I haven't heard anything. I don't know how others feel but I really don't think the team should suffer for the actions of these clowns. Unfortunately, I believe the entire senior coaching staff needs to go. I think everyone had some idea of what was going on with Sandusky. Too many investigations for too long a period for them to not be suspicious. Yet, Sandusky's campus privileges were just suspended today.

This is very good news.

If OU wins out they are in the title game w/ a Stanford loss. OU has to lose again and then beat OSU, OR beat Stanford, and then LSU/Bama win out and they might get the rematch.

But god I hope not.

Maybe, but it might take a conscious effort at poll manipulation by human voters to force that. Alabama is ahead in the human polls and the computers. OU could jump them in the computers by beating OKSt.

So Toledo lost 63-60 last week agains NIU and won 66-63 this week to WMU.

Carder of WMU threw for 548 and 7td compared to last week when Harnish only threw for 265 and 6 TD against the Rockets. (Both ran for one)
