It's genius to put the only 2 good games on at the same exact time.

Otto takes no crap tonight.

It's weird to be excited about football again. I love Coach Marrone.

I would like to express my admiration for Bruce Feldman, and that his evisceration of Craig James and ESPN on the Dan Patrick Show was awesome.

That was 31 flavors of awesome. It couldn't have happened to a better person. ESPN already compromises itself enough when it comes to its flimsy sports journalism. But they grabbed their ankles for this situation with James. He must have pictures of some Bristol bigwig servicing a herd of goats for all this to happen.

Woohoo! Really wished they'd have put the first team on the field in the first half, but I'll take the W.

Happiest people after that overtime: Gamblers who took Syracuse -6.5

The WI offense looked great tonight, the D could use some work.

Re: college football 2011 week 1 "last season for A&M in the big 12 edition"

Even in the Phoenix area, after growing up in Michigan until high school graduation, college football always made me feel like fall was coming. The NFL season, MLB playoffs, and the hockey season. It's always been the beginning of the best months of the year, but with record heat, it's really dragging me down.

Watching the Badgers play, when even the repeat aired in 100 degree temps, was kind of surreal.

Other than watching my favorites go at it, I'm so excited to see Nebraska in the Big Ten finally and plan to watch them play all the big teams the first time around. I don't know who they don't play, with not every team playing each other but want to see them play (Iowa, Michigan, Penn St., Ohio St., Illinois, Michigan St., and Wisconsin). Love having a conference title game too.

Like having the two more teams in the Pac-10/12 too.

I will be attending the Akron-OSU game tomorrow. I mention this only because it's such an odd thing for me to post.

It's not that odd for you to go to an OSU game now that they are in disarray.

TCU won't have to worry about being snubbed this year.
