Sorry, starman! I figured I'd take advantage of being on this funky time zone by starting the thread when it wasn't all that late for me.

Re: MLB Thursday, August 4, 2011

Molina got a 5 game suspension and he's not appealing. With the next 4 games against FLA probably a good time to take it (though he will miss a game against MIL)

Not sure Motte or LaRussa even got a fine.

I should have checked I'm usually just completely robotic when I do it in the morning.

OK, I'll get this thread grooving.

The Cards and Brewers are the most bush league teams in the big leagues and their fan bases are the least knowledgeable I've ever seen in ANY sport.

Yankees complete the beatdown of the White Sox with the 4 game sweep. They outscored the White Sox 34-11 (and 7 of those runs came against AJ Burnett); only 1 game was within 5 runs and the White Sox did not have a lead for even a single inning.

Nova was dealing - 8IP, 1ER, 10K, 6 hits allowed (all singles, 2 of which were infield singles); making AJ Burnett's turd yesterday look that much worse.

They're primed for getting swept by the Red Sox.

I know it will never happen due to the money he is making, but AJ should be in the bullpen right now. The guy has proven the past few years that he has no business pitching after the first few months of the season.

If I hear Girardi say one more time that he has good stuff following AJ getting shelled in a game I'm going to hand deliver a shit sandwich to his house.

Kenny Williams' failure is complete. Should have blown up the whole fucking team last week. Look for them to make it 9 straight losses this weekend.

Dammit, it felt more special when it was just the Twins owning the White Sox. Now everybody is getting in on it.

They should just clean house then. Find a new GM and can Ozzie Guillen.

The Pirates have lost like 7 straight now. Another game of shitty bullpen management by Clint Hurdle.

That's pretty fun, went there a few years ago during inter-league.

I don't really think much of this is Ozzie's fault, but it's probably time for a change anyway. Plus they're keeping a seat warm for him in Miami anyway.
