After watching the Cardinals "professionalism" last night, I can only hope the Brewers kick their ass today to take the series. Go Crew!!

I hope when they question A-Rod about this he uses the "Poker?!? I hardly know her!" defense.

Cardinals/Brewers game is already 5-4 after 3 innings. The team whose pitcher get their act together faster has the best chance to pull out the win. Looks like Casey McGhee finally found his swing. 2 HR's & 4 RBI's so far.

Giants with a 4 spot in the third inning. 4 runs.

It looks like they're going to reclaim sole possession of 1st place today.

The Brewers lost all sense of "professionalism" when they pulled their jerseys out after victories. And you have to love all of their newly found "intense" fans that have crawled out of the woodwork recently.

Congrats to the Brewers on winning the rubber game. If the Cards' starting pitching continues to give up crooked-number innings, they'll have no chance to catch up in the division.

Giants with 8 runs so far. Before today, the most they'd scored at home this season had been 6 runs.

Deftones, don't think Ziegler's bad, he just has to start an inning and that should be how he's used.

Re: MLB Wednesday, August 3, 2011

eh, I don't really care if we win this game. yes, a sweep would've been awesome, but coming in, taking out Cain and Lincecum and winning the series is all I wanted. Dbacks have a cake schedule the next week while the Giants have a difficult one. I imagine there will be quite a few division lead changes over the course of the next few months.

You don't take insults of your teams well, do you?

Pulling out jerseys after a victory is definitely at least as bad as throwing at players and spitting in umpires' faces.

There are always going to be bandwagon fans. Even the local news stations are bandwagon jumpers. Good play gets the usual casual sports fan interested.

Go Brewers!

If I were a reporter I would not be asking any questions after this one.

Yankees absolutely tune up Gavin Floyd... 10ER in 2.1IP

Gotta tip your cap to the Chicago fans for giving Adam Dunn a semi-standing ovation after getting a single while trailing 13-1 (at least the fans still have their sense of humor)

Thrown at in retaliation for hitting Pujols where he just came back from having a broken bone. Also, I do agree that Molina spitting on the umpire was unprofessional but it was not directed at the Brewers.

Re: MLB Wednesday, August 3, 2011

13-6.... AJ refuses to win in August (he's 0-6 as a Yankee in August)

I'd say a decent shot Rivera is closing this game out....

EDIT.... and AJ can't even make it through 5 innings with 13runs of support; he leaves with 1 out in the 5th with 2 guys on base up 13-7. The White Sox are a single away from making it a 4 run game.

Floyd was due for a bad outing but Jesus. I'm glad they're getting embarrassed in front of the home crowd - maybe it will wake them the fuck up and at least lose the division with some dignity.

I still say we finish 4th behind Detroit, Cleveland and Minnesota.

Not sure if you're directing that comment towards me personally but I've been a fan since I lived in Milwaukee for a year back in 2006. Ah, Derrick Turnbow, those were the days.

Sorry it's the other way around, the Cardinals organization, announcers and fans lost all credibility when they started complaing about stuff like that.

Really? All credibility?

Nevermind. I have to keep reminding myself that hyperbole is the language of the internet.
