The Score only broadcast the most "important" matches for the round robin part. However they will show all of the matches of the second round on but if you are a VIP member from Rogers, you should get a Eurosport channel 425 or 435 and they show every single game.

I don't get either of those. I used to have The Score but i reduced my cable down to the basic package after they upped the price for the umpteenth time.

Now THAT was a game. I appreciate women's soccer more than men's these days - because I just get fed up with all the dives and "injuries" in the men's game. The "beautiful game" should not involve 90 minutes of players looking as if they've been gunned down with automatic weapons every time an opposing player gets within three feet of them.

However, it appears to be creeping into the women's game as well ...

That was an amazing game....probably the best soccer game I've ever watched. Amazing job by the American ladies. Ref did everything she could to job them.

I was just blown away by how well they played as a team after Buehler was sent off with the red card.

Watching Rapinoe come in a sub, I found myself yelling at the TV for the next half hour. She was slow to the ball, had ball-control issues, made a number of bad decisions on passes ... and then made everyone forget those with one perfect cross at the end

Tough game for Daiane. She scores the first goal for the USA, then misses the penalty kick that ultimately results in the US victory. All I can say to her (and the rest of the Brazilian side) is ... "See Ya!"

Re: Copa America 2011

Interesting that the equalizing goal at 120+2' in extra time would not have happened if the Brazilians hadn't faked so many injuries to kill the clock. Without 3 minutes of injury time Brazil wins 2-1.

Suckers!

Re: Copa America 2011

Copa America question: The winner will earn CONMEBOL's berth in the 2013 Confederations Cup tourney, but two non-CONMEBOL teams are playing (MEX and CRC). I presume that neither CONCACAF side can take CONMEBOL's berth, so what happens if MEX or CRC win the tourney? Does CONMEBOL send the 2nd place team? What if MEX and CRC both make the finals, would it be the 3rd place team?

Re: Copa America 2011

Pretty good Chile/Peru match last night, with Chile getting the only goal in injury time. Chile looked like the better team, but they were also better divers.

Re: Copa America 2011

Good one going on right now in the quarters between Uruguay and Argentina.

1-1 at the half.

Peru through to the semis with a 2-0 extra time win over Colombia.

Re: Copa America 2011

Paraguay over Brazil on penalties. Both the giants of South America fail to reach the semis.
