He posted this before Raw.

I'm in full, "what are they going to do, fire me?" mode

Solid fucking gold promo by Punk.

Vince has to have a lot of trust in that guy, thus a lot of money as well, to give him the ball like that.

nodqdotcom: Just got word from Jeff Meacham at the arena that after RAW ended, Michael Cole announced that CM Punk has been suspended indefinitely.

Holy...shit.

I walked off after Truth speared Cena through the table, came back to hear Punk calling Cena a kiss ass and had to back up the DVR. So glad I did. That was the best promo in fucking forever, even if it was scripted. But the fact he managed to turn the fans cheering for him against him on the fly was fucking genius.

CM Punk. *bows down*

I guess we'll see if he went to far in the coming days, or if McMahon is letting Punk go further like he let Miz do last year. I certainly hope that was all planned.

WWEmagazine: The mood backstage is...edgy, to put it mildly. @CMPunk is in a meeting with a lot of the people he just called out...

Did Sin Cara just botch the finisher again? Looked like he was going for that "La Mistica" move (flippy flop stuff into armbar submission), wasn't in the right position at the end, and just did a regular cover for the finish. Aside from that, I thought it was a good match. I liked the "Botch a Mania" sign and the "power ranger" chant.

Not to sound like a conspiracy nut or anything ... but something tells me those spins weren't on the level I liked how you could sometimes see the wheel get a little burst of acceleration mid-spin. It was disappointing how mundane the matches were given all the crazy possible stipulations.

Even though he likely had Vince's ok, still surprising to hear that from Punk. Like most of the best promos, it sounded like Punk was tapping the truth.

I'm hearing they took off his WWE facebook page already, and are removing his name from wwe.com. I guess Punk is getting the Randy Savage treatment.

I was just about to ask. But thanks again. Whether it was posted after I searched or I just didn't search well enough, I couldn't find it, so that was quite the pleasant surprise.

Until the video arrives, if anyone's interested in the full audio, here it is: http://angrymarks.com/?ArticleID=143...le+Feedfetcher

I wonder what the bullying story was going to be? Aside from just generally mocking the hypocrisy of the whole thing, since there are few people who seem to be more of a bully over the last couple of decades than Vince McMahon.

I don't really buy "shoot" anything anymore, but if there was a guy who would do it, it's Punk. This is just really interesting. Just when wrestling gets boring, something happens to draw you back in.

I think they sent him out to sell the PPV match and he did a 180 on them. He's basically telling Cena he's a no talent kiss ass and Cena is laying their still pretending to be injured.

Do I think they would ever have Punk come out and put down The Rock and next year's WM main event like that? Hell no. I've also never seen anyone take shots at Vince and his daughter like that, or bring up names that 99% of the fans wouldn't know.

Shit, I'm surprised he didnt say TNA wrestling, but he did kinda call Hogan a kiss ass too.

One of the best promos I've ever been fortunate enough to witness.

Hopefully the WWE capitalizes on this by making a new star, and I don't mean Punk. If he really is leaving, this is an opportunity to get someone HUGELY over. Have Punk actually defeat Cena, celebrate, rip the fans and the WWE again with a similar promo, then have the Raw MITB winner come down and defeat him for the title. Since there's no face that's straddling the main eventer level, I'd pull the trigger on The Miz turning face and doing it.

Instead, we'll get Cena overcoming the odds and saving the WWE again, most likely. *sigh*

I agree, and I'm a TNA fan but CM Punk is my hero now.... though I am surprised for storyline purposes they "suspended" him instead of firing him. For that matter, I would be suprised if no one in the locker room doesn't help Cena retain the belt considering it would leave with someone whose leaving the company. Heck, its on a PPV called Money in the Bank, hopefully someone will cash it in that same PPV considering the logic behind it. It doesn't make sense booking wise unless this is all a work and he's already resigned.

I have been a wrestling fan for far too long to believe any of this CM Punk leaving/suspended stuff is legit. He did however do an awesome job on the promo. Good stuff!

Wrestling lately has been very boring. Every now and again something happens that really gets my interest. CM Punk tonight did just that. I really want to find out what happens next. WWE did it's job tonight!

Wow...that's all I can say. I DVRed it, because I was watching the Best of Nitro set tonight, just watched Raw on my DVR, and just watched it again via the link above.

Real or scripted, CM Punk just cut a promo that I'll remember for a long time.
