Figured I'd get a jump on it since I work early in the a.m. Probably wouldn't be very coherent if I tried then, lol.

Re: WWE/TNA/ROH May Wrestling Thread: Extreme Rules/ Sacrifice

What a wait to kick off a new thread! Usual TNA stuff ...

The Honky Tonk Man claimed on his weekly podcast on Monday (audio available at www.htmradio.com) that Karen Jarrett (formerly Angle) is the alleged victim of a sexual harassment lawsuit against TNA Wrestling.

The former WWE Intercontinental Champion says Karen was sexually harassed by TNA Wrestling president Dixie Carter's husband Serge Salinas.

He says a settlement was reached and that "part of the deal" involved Karen being given her job back with TNA Wrestling. He claims Carter was removed from television earlier this year due to the lawsuit.

The Honky Tonk Man tweeted Monday: "Anyone who missed HTM's announcement on TNA tonight. Karen Angle vs Dixie Carter's husband is the sexual harassment lawsuit going down! That's why Dixie is off TV and Karen is now back with the company as part of the settlement."

I'm sure HTM is without a doubt the most reliable source for TNA rumors. We all know if what he claims were true, Russo would have written a storyline about it by this point.

I wonder if they'll mention the weekend success of Fast Five tomorrow night on Raw when Rock makes an appearance?

I'm quite sure they will. He'll probably even throw a jab or two at Cena about the failures of his movies.

Jabs that are quite deserved. They can play the angle all they want, but the truth is Dwayne "Rock" Johnson is in movies financed by major studios with other name stars. Cena is all WWE productions or Samuel Goldwyn films, who I think just does the distribution so WWE doesn't look too egotistical. Cena can call Rock the "Tooth Fairy," but Rock could go on and on with Cena if he really wanted to play it rough. Rock was just a supporting role in Fast Five, but he was still a major player and a welcome dose that was recognized by critics. I think it's cool he's coming back to do another show, even if it's probably just because it's in his hometown of Miami and he wants to build to next year's Mania.

Speaking of which, have tickets gone on sale yet?

Agreed 100%.
Cena's 3 lead roles have grossed a combined $31.2 million at the box office. Supporting role or not, Rock will definitely mention that fact.

Looks like Mania tickets will go on sale in September, according to what I'm seeing online.

Listening to the HTM radio show. It's kind of interesting how often he feels the need to re-iterate that they're not full of "shiz-it" every time they talk about TNA. If what he says is true, I'm surprised it's not out of business already .

Last year was the first Over the Limit. It took over the Judgment Day slot. Not the best name ever...gotta agree with ya there.

Much like every other loser leaves match or firing, she'll be back in a week or so.

What's the over under that Vin Diesel and/or Paul Walker is on tomorrow's Raw for the birthday party? They've been blitz advertising the movie, and this could be a backdoor way to getting "stars" on Raw, without having to do the guest host thing.

That would be the "Over the (Legal) Limit" event.

Possible, though the movie is doing great even without it. Couldn't hurt though to have another Vin/Rock confrontation. Reminds me of the Zeus/Hogan crossover, however crappy that was.

The Deadman will no doubt rise from the dead with Michelle at home to take care of his "needs!"

I'm cool with that, as long as Vin Diesel doesn't try to rip off Hogan's head like Zeus did back in the day. Wasn't Vince McMahon selling that like the Hulkster had just been killed?!?!?
