I'm pissed to see Cena get drafted back. Shit like this keeps happening. Cena's fired at Survivor Series, but he keeps showing up. He's drafted to Smackdown, then drafted back. He's like the modern day version of the Dusty Finish.

Even when he's hurt, he still shows up earlier then expected! (Royal Rumble 2008)

Glad to see Randy Boreton go.

Since the WWE title is staying on Raw, that kind of gives away that Christian wins the World Title for Smackdown now that ADR is on Raw.

Great sequence by Borne and Kingston during the battle royal. I'm just glad we didn't get the overused bit of a guy hiding under the ring.

R-Truth stepped up on the mike and maybe turned himself into a money player. The crowd was reacting well to him too, although I'd like to punch SCSA for starting that WHAT stupidity. Truth reminded me a little of Fred Sanford!

Re: WWE/TNA/ROH April Wrestling Thread: Wrestlemania XXVII/ Lockdown

The Big Winners tonight

R Truth- Great Heel Turn Continues.

Hopefully with Punk ,Del Rio and Miz all on the same Brand WWE realizes there mistake and depushes Miz(who will never have it) and Del Rio(who is not over enough yet) as neither have ever gotten a pop like Truth got tonight.

Truth showed tonight he is the only heel anywhere near CM Punks league tonight.

Drew McIntyre,Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett,Jack Swagger

With Del Rio and his huge push gone it is there for the taking for any of these guys to be the top Heel of Smackdown.

Sin Cara- The Lucha Libre style even at its cleanest you will get your share of botches with high flyers . The show with the better in ring workers and less promo stuff is where he shoulda been in the first place.

Zack Ryder - Sitting in the front row of Team Raw and Zack Ryder signs prominent in the crowd it's only a matter of time before the Woo Woo Woo kid is gonna get a midcard push.

Unless the John Morrison-Trish feud has been a work all along and he gets drafted to Smackdown in the suplimental stuff tomorrow and Vince secretly see's something in the spot monkey and he wins the belt Sunday.

This just seems too good to be true for Christian. I am excpecting the worst.

Re: WWE/TNA/ROH April Wrestling Thread: Wrestlemania XXVII/ Lockdown

Looks like someone's unhappy up north:

MAJOR NAME SAID TO BE EYEING WWE EXIT, COMPLETE DETAILS by Mike Johnson

As we initially reported last night in the PWInsider.com Elite section, former WWE World champion CM Punk has not signed a new WWE deal and there's been a lot of talk that Punk is looking to exit the company when his deal expires in a few months.

Internally, that possibility has been discussed for some time but during the European tour, discussion of Punk's exit came more and more to the forefront.

According to WWE sources, Punk has been offered a new long-term deal but has balked at signing, citing burnout with being on the road for years and unhappiness with his position in the company over the last year.

As one source pointed out, Punk has been something of an "Iron Man" for the company, working full-time on the road with the exception of his hip injury needing to be rehabbed last year. At the same time, despite delivering with whatever was handed to him creatively, Punk has watched as other talents developed since he debuted ended up pushed as bigger names and treated as more important than Punk, including Miz and Alberto Del Rio.

"When you look at how the company brands it's characters, Punk is never among the top 5-8 names that are promoted or pushed," said the WWE office source. "It's Cena, Orton, Miz, Undertaker, Rey, now Alberto, etc. these days and Punk is sort of floating right under there. He didn't fit into the youth drive a few months back but he's not treated like a top veteran either. He's just there, doing his job and while everyone knows he delivers, he's never really treated like someone who does. He's never dropped the ball but we don't give it to him really, either. He's treated like a guy, but not THE guy. For a driven guy like him who's made wrestling his entire world, it's got to drive him crazy. Now, the excuse will be don't push Punk because he might be leaving, but the reality is the environment and situation is what is probably making him want to leave to begin with. Either it gets fixed or it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, just like it did when Batista walked out."

As is the norm with such situations, a new deal could be struck at any point, but as more and more sources discuss Punk leaving the company as a distinct possibility, time will tell. We'll have more when we get it.
I would laugh my ass off if he does go to TNA as he has been known to bash them in the past...

I think Punk may be going. It explains why creative sucked all the wind out of Nexus and he kept losing to Orton. Just glad Orton is off RAW.

It would suck if Punk leaves. I was thinking with Cena and Orton gone it could give way for stars like Punk, Miz, and R-Truth to finally get their pushes. If they could get someone else as talented, I feel they could form something akin to the Four Horsemen.

raven, he's pissed because he sees these other guys getting pushed who have less talent than him (on both mic and in the ring). They basically treat him like he's a mid carder. He thinks he's hit the ceiling in WWE with no chance of advancing into the main event scene.

Re: WWE/TNA/ROH April Wrestling Thread: Wrestlemania XXVII/ Lockdown

I don't put much stock in these gossipy wrestle-newz reports (especially when they rely on "unnamed sources"). Punk has been a mainstay in the upper part of the card for a while. If he's upset about his role, all but a handful of guys would kill to be in his spot. True, he jobs a lot. But he's a heel and that's to be expected. Plus, it's a testament to him that he can keep losing and maintain his heat (kind of like Jericho has always been able to do). Though if he's in good shape for money, I can't blame anyone for stepping out of the WWE to get out of the killer schedule for a while.

If anyone cares, the draft is still going on. More blockbuster moves:

Daniel Bryan to SD
Jack Swagger to RAW
Great Khali to SD
Jimmy Uso to SD
Kelly Kelly to RAW
JTG to RAW
Alicia Fox to SD
William Regal to SD
Yoshi Tatsu to SD
Drew McIntyre to RAW

The last one got posted on WWE's site while I was in the middle of typing this, so it's still ongoing. I'm sure there's a glorious singles career in Jimmy Uso's future

he was being pushed within the Royal Rumble, his match with Orton was a mainstay, he is top talent but his character just finished a crap feud... he will get his time.. they need to push more people though... he cant just be the super guy, he would be perfect as ultimate champ but it comes in time

I hope they're not planning on splitting up Miz and A-Ri.

I was hoopin' and hollerin' at R-Truth's fantastic promo last night! "Y'all are pissin' me off!" Priceless!

Lookin' forward to seeing Truth cost John Morrison the title on Sunday.

I hope Punk is stiffing them for a larger contract and a better spot at the top of the card. They really need the guy when you look at the other up and coming guys they have.

P.S. I cant stand Jack Swagger and it's painful to me that he will be back on Raw. I don;t mind Kofi but the guy seems to flip flop back and forth every single draft.
