Dez Bryant, keepin' it classy (thrown out of mall for saggy pants)

Dez Bryant ejected from mall over droopy pants

DALLAS (AP) — Dallas Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant was ejected from an upscale Dallas shopping mall after a dispute over the sagging pants worn by him and some companions.

A Tuesday police statement says officers working off-duty Saturday as security at NorthPark Center encountered Bryant and three companions wearing the drooping pants.

According to the statement, when the officers asked the four to pull up their trousers, Bryant launched into a profanity-laced tirade that prompted the officers to escort the four from the mall.

Police say Bryant refused to leave, however, until his "representative" could arrive and he parked in a fire lane until a friend arrived and persuaded him to leave.

No charge was filed.
Bryant's agent, Eugene Parker, declined to comment. The Dallas Cowboys did not respond to requests for comment.
Sounds like he is lucky to avoid criminal trespass and disorderly conduct charges.

What's up with all the NFL stories getting their own threads? The offseason thread is still around right?

The only reason this is news is because Dez plays for the Cowboys and not for the Browns or the Bills. So meh...

Yeah, I know things can get buried pretty fast around here with all the new threads that created every day. For example, today we had...uh...two new threads created.

Now that Cowboys WR Dez Bryant is allowed back inside NorthPark Center mall – and thank the lord for that! – he now can focus his attention on a lawsuit from a Dallas-area jeweler who claims Bryant owes him $246,000.

Bryant Pro Football Talk reports that Bryant received $267,000 of custom jewelry in 2010 from A+A Diamonds, Ltd. d/b/a Rafaello & Co., but that he only paid $21,000 for it.

Those orders range from January 2010 to May 2010. Bryant is in the middle of a five-year, $11.8 million contract ($8.63 million of that is guaranteed). Hopefully for Bryant’s sake, he’s put some money away in anticipation of the lockout, because he might need some of it to pay off his alleged jewelry debt.

You know you're in trouble when Deion Sanders gives up on you and says that you need help.

Well 2x the total now:

----------------------
Dallas Cowboys rookie wide receiver Dez Bryant has been named in two lawsuits claiming he owes more than a half-million dollars for custom jewelry and pro football and basketball tickets.

According to papers filed Friday in Dallas County, a New York jeweler claims that Bryant has not paid $240,000 for several pieces of jewelry he ordered on four invoices from January to May 2010. He was drafted by the Cowboys in the first round on April 22.

Also, new motions were filed last week in a 2010 Tarrant County lawsuit that claims Bryant has not paid for $293,000 worth of jewelry and $12,350 worth of sporting event tickets he charged before the Cowboys drafted him.

^^^That's not surprising. A lot of the big-time draft picks will be hundreds of thousands of debt prior to actually being in the league. It's silly, but it is what it is.

He's not there yet but damn if he isn't trying. So he spent almost half a million on just on jewelry.

I wonder how much he has spent on cars, houses, etc. For his sake he better wrap his little Dez.
