The 2010-11 NBA Regular Season Pt II

We're a little past halfway through the NBA season and the trade deadline has been interesting. Let's take this thread strong to the hoop for the stretch run.

Simmons' column (2nd half) explains exactly how I feel about the Perkins trade.

You'd think that around 1-13, 1-14 he might stop and think about not shooting anymore. But nope. Way to stick to your guns big fella!
I felt bad for him. Its not like his shots where way off either. As far as not shooting anymore, if your open you take the shot. Your not going pass up open shots when others are covered. Bosh has become my favorite of all the Heat players. I got a chance to meet him and aside from Gary Payton he has been one of the nicest people I have met. But I like the way he keeps grinding. But yeah that was a awful shooting night. But with Bosh shooting like that the Heat on road still should have beat them so its not an epic fail loss.

Really loved that absurd flop, too. A truly fantastic player.

I agree, you shouldn't pass up shots if you're open, especially if you're a player the calibur of Bosh. Regardless if you're 1/12 and counting. That said, it's also ridiculous for a big man to shoot that poorly.

And the Pistons only used 6 players in the game because the players that skipped the morning shootaround were benched. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that John Kuester's days in Detroit are numbered. Maybe they can get Jerry Sloan out of retirement.

6 players, my God that's horrible.

Isn't Larry Brown out of a job again? Maybe he'll take the spot.

If I'm Rip/Tay/Big Ben, I'm prayin' Kuester DOESN'T walk now. Cause ushering a coach aside this way goes on their resumes in permanent ink.

Not sure what T-Mac's beef with Kuester is. Kue helped him restore his rep, made him a starter, a point guard. That's a hell of thank you.

Do the Blazers always celebrate a regular season win like they've won a championship? Brandon Roy is a maniac though and it is nice to see him back.

I doubt this really affects anything as far as their careers go.

that kobe video is what is wrong with Laker fans. Kobe did not get hit in the face as the video description says. he got hit in the chest.

The video doesn't say he got hit in the face. You're probably reading the description for the next "related" video. Whoops.

Re: The 2010-11 NBA Regular Season Pt II

T-Mac laughing at Kuester getting ejected last night made all the highlight shows.

I read an article in the Detroit Free Press today and of course T-Mac denies it and says he was laughing at something else.
