Forgive me but,

I'm obviously missing something here? Is this a one game ticket? I could see season tickets, but one game? My co-worker (huge sox fan) was in Boston for work 2 years ago and went to the park and got monster seats just walking up to the window. Sure they were $100 but he still just walked up and got prime seats.

Yes, the last time the Cubs and Red Sox played in Fenway was a 1918 world series game.

Is that right? Strange since there's been 15 years of IL play.

Without looking it up, I can believe it. I remember the Yankees playing the Cubs and it was a huge hype-fest. Playing the traditional rival cuts down the interleague pool.

Which is another reason why Interleague play is ruining baseball. As of next year, we'll say that the last time the Cubs played at Fenway was a meaningless regular season 2011 game.

There is no magic left.

I agree, baseball would be so much better if the Cubs never played anywhere but Wrigley.

Yep, I know, but my point was that even in interleague, they've only met up once.

Sure there is. The Cubs winning the WS would be magic.
