Dragon Gate USA just announced that it is introducing tag titles and will crown the first champs in January. That is awesome.

I dont know how they can PG their way around this but I guess it is true.

-- It has been confirmed that Sean Morley (a/k/a Val Venis) is returning to World Wrestling Entertainment, and it may occur as early as tonight's Raw. The former Intercontinental Champion was spotted at a hotel in New York yesterday with other WWE talent.

-CM Punk is out for 3 months with a hip injury.

Eh ... I don't see it that tough to "PG" Val Venis. They could just have him be a Ravishing Rick Rude type character, and drop all the porn star references. His finisher (The Money Shot) will probably need a new name.

Though I suppose 3 months isn't too bad as far as wrestling injuries are concerned. Maybe they can have Punk co-host one of the shows while he's healing? I enjoyed his guest spot on NXT.

Department of Justice threatens WWE

WWE attorney Jerry McDevitt recieved a letter from the U.S. Department of Justice today which reads:

"The Department of Justice has recently received information indicating that your client, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE), might be providing or planning to provide free merchandise to voters at polling places. However, the available information also indicates that, if this practice is actually planned or occurring, it is open and notorious. Accordingly, this letter is to advise you that WWE might be operating in ignorance of applicable federeal criminal law, and to notify you of that law.

Specifically, Section 1973i (c) of Titale 42 of the United States Code makes it a federal offnse to pay or offer to pay an individual a thing of value for voting. Violations of Section 1973i (c) is punishable by imprisonment up to five years and a fine not to exceed $250,000. Please note the Department's understanding that this statute prohibits a person from providing a thing of value--such as clothing--in return for an individual's participation in the voting process.

Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Sincerely,

Richard C. Pilger

Director

Yes the money shot will now be known as the cacapoopoopeepee shot in keeping with the PG theme of WWsEsamestreet.

I guess they are going to try to find ways to keep Punk on TV in a non wrestling role.

I saw a video of Stephanie today at some rally, and she looks really old. It's like HHH is sucking the life out of her, Rogue-style.

I don't have a problem with the re-signing of Venis. He's solid in the ring and would be a good presence for the younger guys in the locker room.

I really hope they keep Punk on TV as a commentator for Raw. Fire Lawler and let Punk take his spot.

It slays me how the fans crap on the Anonymous GM. That laptop gets X-pac heat.

If they are in the process of turning Cena heel, they're doing a good job with it so far.

Sheamus really does have a great presence in the ring, especially when he's on the mic.

Since when is Truth, Cena and Orton's best friend? And then Truth fucks up Barrett's name. Classic Summerfest moment there.

Must be between stuttering over his words ....

A year ago they had the GM on every five seconds, now they show up 45 mins into the program.

Actually, ten years ago they would have teamed him for some comedy time with Pee Wee.

Either my memories of PeeWee's voice are way off, or he sounds like a 70 year old smoker trying to do a high voice

I read that Raw's rating last week was the lowest in three years.

I don't think he's been on air since Nexus dropped him correct?
