Anyone living in London should just forget going to see Niners-Broncos. You just going to see some real crappy football playing over there.

Just saw the ESPN crawl that Favre "expects" to start Sunday. This team is just as entertaining Monday-Saturday as they are on Sunday.

All this will be for nothing once the woman talks to the NFL and they suspend Brett Favre. It will be interesting too see if Favre gets off to his usual slow start-will Childress leave him in the game. Also if they fall to 2-5,then what, as far as QB is concerned.

Not to defend Favre's general creepiness, but if he wasn't still playing, what possible sanction would he actually be facing? Nothing that I'm aware of. So why would he hand the Jets house floozy money? The story is out, so extortion is off the table. Other than possible suspension from the NFL he is not facing any additional penalties from anyone. Not to mention handing her money at this point would probably be the only way he could wring more bad PR out the the whole fiasco.

That's kind of what I'm getting at. The only reason you would assume he would even consider handing her money would be if you also assume there was something actually worse out there that is not public. And handing her money would only serve to confirm that existence. I don't see it happening. What could be worse? That he banged her? Not very likely. Only something like he offered to pay her for sex or something would do it, and that's pretty out there as well. Never say never, but he isn't going to give her anything. If she wanted something from him, she probably already tried and obviously failed.

So first pass to Dez, guess he is officially the starter now? I must have missed that...knew it would happen, but got a lot of money (not to mention pics given in the trade) in Williams. And he has been more involved.
Still love me some Dez
