- Multiple sources within WWE are saying that the company has signed reigning ROH World champ Tyler Black. Indications are that Black will be starting with the company in September. It is believed that he has signed a developmental deal, though that's not confirmed right now.
Black has been the champion since February this year. He has several title defences scheduled between now and September, including one against Roderick Strong on September 11 at the Glory by Honor i-PPV.
When contacted about the rumour, ROH owner Cary Silkin had no comment.

I hope this isn't true especially after what happened to Danielson and how Nigel has been treated in TNA.

Dixie confirmed on Facebook that Sabu will wrestle RVD. This show is going to be a trainwreck given all the "talent" being brought in.

I ordered the PPV tonight and this is one of those PPVs that has the correct players to make it work despite the naysayers think about it. If you think about it, the 3 to 5 folks that complain about it in forums here & elsewhere in wrestling forums, there are 10-15 interested in watching this PPV. Congrats to TNA for listening to their fans and giving them what we want.
Also, Tommy Dreamer stated in interviews that there are 7-8 matches planned for tonight and some surprises in store (I have no idea what they are) but considering the folks who watched ECW back in the day I can pretty much guess what might happen. Yes these guys are older and TNA has taken a step back to let them perform for 1 night but this is for the fans that loved ECW in the past. I really doubt these guys are going to half-ass the work-rate they are known to do and they know they have a lot to live up to.
Guys who aren't watching this tonight & weren't impressed by the Thursday's main part where Sandman debuted despite you watched the old-school ECW, you might as well turn in your wrestling card.
To all the guys that are griping about this PPV, lets be real...its the same guys that keep giving TNA crap & have no intention of giving TNA a shot despite it trying to be different.
WWE be damn if they try to press legal action against TNA though I doubt that will happen since there is no legal ground to stand on. Tonight is my closure to ECW and I can't wait to see it...

Except that there is plenty of ground to stand on if ECW gets brought up and not ev2.0 or whatever it is being called and how WWE owns trademarked names.

This line of thinking is my problem with this particular ppv. They keep billing it as One LAST Stand, One LAST Night. They say this is for the fans. It's not though...it's to make money, pure and simple. TNA isn't taking a step back and letting them perform. TNA is attempting to use the ECW connection to dig itself up out of the grave that it's been digging for itself. You're going to tell me that if this is a big success, TNA won't try to keep capitalizing on it?

They opened an ECW related PPV with a Dance Off???
In regards to the poster who said this TNA PPV is shaping up to be a trainwreck, when have they ever really put on anything else?

ECW is so old now that all these wrestlers that you see are old too.... think about it... Tell AJ styles how he feels about this whole thing...
Dixie is on full panic mode because Hogan failed, Bischoff failed, Monday Nights failed, and now they have to revive a failure of a company up again for money... Panda must have put their foot down...

I'm a TNA homer, but this is indefensible so far. It's more sad and depressing to see a lot of these guys out there like this.
