"Another angel has fallen" could be referring to Daniels I think.

The show's 3 minutes old and they've already laid an egg with the rules to the non-sensical womens match.

The end of that segment was amateur hour. Beer Money standing around, Hogan watching Abyss get beat down and not doing anything, and then everyone standing around watching Hardy & RVD instead of beating up Hogan.

That ring is too small. They WWE ring should be the standard size for wrestling companies putting shows on national TV.

Not to mention Sting taking 10 seconds to figure out how to get Jarrett into position for the death drop while Hogan/Abyss just stood there, then chased him after he hit it. Wow, that whole thing was a damn mess.

Re: WWE/TNA April Wrestling Thread: Lockdown & Extreme Rules

I've seen a lot of complicated matches, but no joke, this seriously might be the most complicated match I've ever seen. Especially when it's used on a throwaway women's match, unadvertised on a random Impact.

I was thinking during the Rob Terry match "Who do I want to see less than Terry" and lo and behold, out comes Orlando Jordan. They sure have done a good job of filling the uncontested hour with shit.

Re: WWE/TNA April Wrestling Thread: Lockdown & Extreme Rules

They're not only going against Raw, but the NCAA championship, so naturally TNA wants to be as gimmicky as possible. A stupid women's match that no one cares about followed by a ladder match. I guess their just following Russo's pattern of stipulations galore.

Re: WWE/TNA April Wrestling Thread: Lockdown & Extreme Rules

I still don't understand the key match. One of the cases had the TNA women's championship in it, was that up for random grabs? I thought it was just an open contract. And why the hell did they bother making it an elimination tag match, why not just go 4 on 4? My God, it's almost as if they're trying to make this unwatchable.

One box has the title, another has an open contract against anyone (including the men) in TNA.

Wow. So in theory, the new "women's champion" is just as likely to be performing a striptease later. This is one of the strangest hours of nonsensical wrestling programming I have ever seen.

Ok that was sick in a terrible way. I feel bad for Angle, he doesn't need to do this shit, that looked like it nearly crippled him.

Angle looks like he's in agony out there. I legit hope he's ok, this is hard to watch after that bump.

Re: WWE/TNA April Wrestling Thread: Lockdown & Extreme Rules

Two things:

1) the chair shot that the British guy took from Homicide was fucking old school ECW
2) how did Angle not die on that bump out of the ring in the ladder match.
