Given the condition of his SUV after the collision with a tree, the fact that Tiger Woods was speeding at the moment was hardly shocking or some major revelation out of nowhere. Having said that, would the police have withheld the information, pending the driver's approval, had it been an average citizen behind the wheel instead of a major sports figure?

The man clearly shouldn't be driving. As I said before, hire a fucking driver/car service. He can certainly afford it.

^ In high school I started to back my car out of an angled parking space when the rear tire hit the curb on the right side. I thought I hit the break when I put my car in drive to pull forward a bit only to realize that I hit the accelerator and drove over the median in front of me. Unfortunately this happened in the rear of a Burger King with numerous drive thru customers watching. So thankful that was before cell phones and internet.

Maybe it's just me but when you hit 85 in a 45, even going downhill, wouldn't you realize at sometime while accelerating to 85, that something was amiss and maybe you're pressing the wrong pedal?
