Dbacks get a good win at home and continue to beat up on the NL West. 18-5 against the NL West. They need to play every game against their own division.

They are hitting 'better' now....but they opened atrociously, and given the drop off that happens at 35+, I'm not convinced they won't tank.

Red Sox recent streak:

1. get early lead
2. lose lead, but not by much
3. get several opportunities in final 4 innings to take lead back
4. miss these opportunities

the pitching hasnt been good, but these games are winnable. we've been hitting every damn pitcher on the twins, tigers, and O's (so far), yet we've lost 5 of the past 7 games.

i still blame lugo.

I'll give you Delgado, who has been trending down the last 2 plus years, but you're nuts regarding Alou. He's still 'opening' as he's only played in 8 games so far and is hitting .364. All he does is hit, he hasn't slowed down at the plate in years, the problem is him staying in the line up and healthy, but he's done nothing but produce when he's there considering he's hit .321, .301, and.341 all with over 300AB's and well above 35 the last 3 seasons.
If you told me you're concerned about him staying on the field, I'd heartily echo it, but I have no worries about his hitting.
