Over-reacting much?
You're a professional, asshole, learn to deal with it.

I wouldn't be surprised if you see such blowups from all news/sports anchors at some point.

And nothing beats the classic off-air Casey Kasem meltdown.

It takes TONS of concentration to pick 1 out of 6 games correctly and go "Whoop!" ten times per clip, not to mention his other "funny" stuff. What an ass.

That was great. I never pictured Chris Burman to be a douchebag before. When I watch ESPN now, and see him, I will think of him in a whole new light. He needs to calm the fuck down.

He doesnt annoy me as much as he does everyone else except when he is doing mlb games then you realize he really doesnt know what he is talking about, but his commentary and nicknames can still be funny to me.

I don't think that is too horrible. If he is like that all the time then yes, total assclown, but maybe he was having a really shitty day and may be under pressure and just lost it. He did apologize mid-way thru rant. My worst day at work I was cursing and slamming the phones, but my techs still love working with me (at least I think so, no clue what they say behind my back).

Well, another point that should be made is that this was actually eight years ago (look at the screen behind him). I'm not a fan of his, but who really knows if he acts like this on a daily basis.

I can't stand Berman, but this clip didn't change my mind about him one way or the other. First of all it was absolutely hilarious and secondly, I've never heard of him acting like that on a regular basis so if you like the guy there's no reason to change your mind about him because of 1 random incident that probably happened years ago.

I've seen and heard a lot worse than that. It was pretty damned funny. I'll bet he laughs about it now. And as noted before, he DID apologize in the middle of the rant (it's like he knew he was going overboard, but just couldn't help himself and felt bad about it - even as he kept on going).

And I think he's got a point - when someone's trying to tape a segment you don't have people running around all over the place in front of him creating multiple distractions. I've taken a couple TV & radio classes and even in a classroom setting I would have gotten pissed!

Still, that was pretty funny.

Funny stuff, but he's right about the people running in front of the camera. I would get pissed when people did it in school, let alone MNF.

Might have been a bit over the top, but I'll guarantee they never did that to him again.

Eh...it wasn't that bad. We really don't know the context in which the blow up happened. Sounds like he was just frustrated with unprofessional behavior on the set. It happens.

That dude's a joke. He's got a big head about nothing. He started off as ESPN's "funny guy" and basically he's still a clown now.

I don't have a problem with this or him. The vid is 7 years old and he's still on the air. I'll watch him every Sunday over FOX, and especially CBS. I only wish Primetime can come back so we're not stuck watching NBC exclusively.

He's got a point though. It can be really distracting, etc. He probably was having a crappy day.....if you picked games at badly as him, you'd probably have a lot of bad days.

Bad day or not, calling out and belittling subordinates, co-workers, or colleagues in front of other people isn't cool. People have bad days all of the time and do not take it out on others. If he had a problem, he should have dealt with it privately.
