I'll pick the Patriots to win 28-24 in a close game.

Well, since I used the Patriots to get past the Championship round in the DVDTalk Playoff Pool, I'm rooting for the Jints.

I'm also dreadfully tired of Boston teams.

I can't imagine it being a 14+ point win, but I'm sure the Pats will take it. Regardless I'm gonna root for the underdog. Sorry Seau.

*Jumps Chargers Bandwagon for the Giants Bandwagon*

I am fighting the inevitable to the end baby.

Still though, when I was hoping for Manning in the Super Bowl this year, this wasn't exactly what I had in mind.

If it was only 1 week between league championship games and the Super Bowl, I'd think the Giants have a puncher's chance to win, but with 2 weeks, I'm still leaning towards the Pats handling their business, but I also think the game will be decided by 7 points or less.

I'm going to be pulling for the Giants. They played them well last time and I think they'll play them hard this time, but will once again fall short. Hopefully the Giants make it a game.

Speaking of which: read on another board that Seau was roundly booed by the crowd at The Blade for mentioning SD during his post-game interview.

I wasn't paying attention at the time: was he really booed, or was it just by a smattering of fans near the mic?

Yeah, he congratulated the Chargers on a good run and game over the stadium 's PA and was pretty loudly booed. But it was classy booing

I think the final score won't be indicative of how close the game will be. It will be 35-27, but that is giving NE a 35-14 fourth quarter lead.

Giants will score first, then give up 21 unanswered before making it 21-14 at the half. NE scores twice in the third.

As much as I'd LOVE to see the Giants win or at least keep things close, I can't see New England not correcting the problems they had with the Giants in the last week of the regular season:

Pats 42
Giants 17

I agree, I think they will scheme better against the Giants then the first time they played and will win by around 11 or more.

Something like Pats 31-16

I can't see anyway the Pats will lose the game, even if they win by 1. They've gotten this close to going 19-0 they won't be denied.

Hope to see the Giants win too. But I think they'll lose by 10.

This looks right to me. This game is no slam dunk for NE.

I agree with this. Two weeks to prepare, ideal playing conditions. I think the Patriots take it in a romp and it will be a very boring game to watch. Quite a disappointing end to the NFL season if you are not a fan of either of these teams.

I thought this was pretty good, this was told at a local church by me.

Three quarterbacks go up to heaven and arrive at the pearly gates where God is waiting for them

God asks Peyton Manning first: "What do you believe?" Peyton thinks long and hard, looks God in the eye, and says, "I believe in hard work, and in staying true to family and friends. I believe in giving. I was lucky, but I always tried to do right by my fans." God can't help but see the essential goodness of Manning, and offers him a seat to his left.

Then God turns to Tony Romo and says, "What do you believe?" Tony says, "I believe passion, discipline, courage and honor are the fundamentals of life. I, too, have been lucky, but win or lose, I've always tried to be a true sportsman, both on and off the playing fields." God is greatly moved by Tony's sincere eloquence, and he offers him a seat to his right.

Finally, God turns to Tom Brady: "And you, Tom, what do you believe?"

Tom replies, "I believe you're in my seat."

Oh, shit!

No word on whether it was a Joe Theismann-type injury.
