So a lot of talk saying bynum is out of the playoffs. I think the injury is worse than originally thought and obviously they're being very careful with his return.

Glad that Denver is the Lakers 1st round opponent. Dallas would just be too dangerous.

Yeah, I agree. Luckily I think with Denver there's not as much of a rush to get Bynum in there. A healthy Bynum next year and for the next few years would be ideal considering this Laker team can be competitive for years.

I'm in the camp who thinks Bynum is done for the year.
I think the Lakers will come out of the West, but I don't see them beating the Celtics (if they come out of the East, which I think they will) without a healthy Bynum. Celtics "D" is just too good. Hope I get proven wrong though.

at least we have six weeks til the western conference finals if the lakers make it that far. At that point a healthy bynum is possible against a team like the suns or spurs

They have been pretty mum about Bynum. At this point, I don't think bringing him back will make a huge difference. He would most likely come off the bench and play 10-15 minutes a game. If his knee is still not 100%, maybe he should go under the knife to make sure it's fixed rather than risk re-injuring it again during the playoffs.

Not great seats - upper level....but I sacrificed good seats for being able to go to 2 games instead of one. Otherwise, we could have gotten seats in the stands behind the baskets for $70 each, so we would have doubled our price. Makes me wish I was still in radio....I'd have a press pass for these games.
