Did it already start or do they hold off the start to wait for TNT?

That commercials way old!

Oh how far Dwayne Wade has fallen. Just 2 years ago people couldn't stop raving about him. Kobe wouldn't let his team be this bad

Ok, now they're passing too much. 10-2 run by the Heat cuts the lead to 8.

Yeah even after the team broke up, the Lakers missed the playoffs but they still weren't as bad as the Heat are now.

To think there were people that thought the Lakers should have kept Shaq and let Kobe go.

Lakers keep snoozing when they go up by 15 or 16 and let the Heat go on a small run. Trying all acrobatic showman shots and such.

I was thinking the same thing, what happened to Fisher this game? Two turnovers in a row, and got stuffed a minute ago.

I got back from Staples an hour ago. Good game, a little sloppy at times, but I'll take the win along with my tacos.

what do they give tacos for again? I remember it used to be if they scored 100 points you'd get what was it pizza or in and out or something.

I don't live in SoCal anymore but I believe I heard about the deal during one of their broadcasts. If they hold their opponent under 100 points for the game then every fan gets 2 free tacos from Jack in the Box.

The LA Times has an interesting stat this morning.

The Lakers or Phil Jackson have been in the NBA Finals every leap year since 1980:

1980 - Lakers won
1984 - Lakers lost
1988 - Lakers won
1992 - Bulls won
1996 - Bulls won
2000 - Lakers won
2004 - Lakers lost

Hopefully the streak of appearing in the Finals continues!

Chris

Don't be hating on my boy Fish.

He still hits the occasional big shot. Farmar has been outplaying him which is why you see him at the end of the game.

My only criticism of Fisher is that he goes into the lane looking for the foul. Which hardly ever gets called - but does get blocked. He doesn't look to score first. I guess because he's money at the line.

He will be great in the playoffs I'm sure.

Cool stat, though not too surprising considering the Lakers and Jackson's Bulls teams were in the finals 18 out of the 28 times from 1980 until now. Here's hoping the trend continues, though... you know Stern is hoping for an old fashioned Lakers/Celtics big market showdown.

And i know there were a lot of other stats like that too. Like every Laker (or was it NBA?) team that's been 12-1 in February has gone on to win the title. Or Laker team atop the Western Conference. Things like that. I know they were talking about it during the Portland game.

I hate that tacos crap. I go to a lot of games and it surprises me that people who spend hundreds of dollars on seats are worried about $1 tacos.

Sasha and Farmar are proving to be huge this year. With Ronny and soon Ariza coming off the bench also, we really have one of the deepest teams in the league. I'm so glad to see our young guards playing well .

I think that taco stuff is fun. Although in the end, I doubt more then 1/5 of the people, if that, actually go and get them.

I won tickets at work to the Dallas game on Sunday! Box suites too I'm way excited.

Yeah I had a box suite last year against Sacramento I think. Your game might be a little better than mine was!
