Cool. Now the Lakers might actually be competitive.

Yes. Because we all know that h2h season record means so much in the playoffs.

This year is different? You've gone into the future and have knowledge of the outcomes? Please, share for everyone!

Huh? What makes YOUR team competitive? You don't look at regular season games so what else is there to judge each teams competitive nature? No one knows how each will do in the playoffs. We were competitive before Gasol and we will be now. I don't get your points. I don't think you do either.

Yeah, that's a pretty fucking stupid comment.
The Lakers were competitive before Bynum was injured. Hell, they were a half game up on the Suns and had the best record in the Western Conference. A Suns fan, if anyone, should know the Lakers have been competitive this year after getting crushed at home and losing again on Christmas day.

Again, competing in the regular season != competing in the playoffs. Sure, it determines seeding, but it's certainly not the same thing.
Suns could lose to the Lakers every game during the regular season, for all I care. Bottom line is, they are a better team, will have a better seeding, and won't have any trouble moving past them in the playoffs should they need to.

I give you props for feeling confident about your team man but they'll be lucky to get past the 2nd round this year. I agree with you about the regular season meaning shit but there's no question the Lakers are a much better team than they were last year and alot of that has to do with Bynum emerging as a dominant center and the FA signing of Derek Fisher. If the Lakers are healthy going into the play-offs and they face off against the Suns, it won't be a cake walk for your team like you think it will.

I never said the Lakers weren't better than last year, did I?
With or without Bynum, the Lakers aren't the best team in the Western Conference. You had the best record. Past tense. Sure, getting Gasol makes you guys a better team. I'll give you that, but that's about all you get.

Seriously, the Lakers were playing great this year with Bynum healthy and there's absolutely no reason to believe that they would have been solid in the playoffs. Even if you only judge playoff performances, the Lakers were "competitive" against the Suns 2 years ago when they almost bounced them, and the Suns haven't won shit in the playoffs so you're probably expecting them to lose in the WCF.
Come on man, I thought you're initial comment was just sarcasm but you can't be serious if you think the Lakers wouldn't have been competitive at all in the playoffs.

The first part of his statement is true. They did have the best record when he got injured. Of course, the second part of his statement is blatantly incorrect, though.
