NFL Turd Watch

For anyone that's missed it (and in light of Michael Vick's latest shenanigans), I'd figure I'd post this link:

http://profootballtalk.com/turdwatch.htm

Keeps track of the problem childs on the NFL by organization (scoring at bottom). I'm personally disappointed in the Bengals, they need to step it up!

And amazingly the entire NFC East scores a zero thus far.

From a state perspective, between the Dolphins, the Jaguars, and the Bucs, Florida has it locked up.

Me too. Heck, if Oakland were to get just 4 more points, the Stripes wouldn't even be a Wild Card "Bad Boy" qualifier.

But it was for "allegedly acting as a pimp". You got to give up for someone that does that!

I know. I guess I just miss the good ole days when I could count on Nate Newton being caught with a vanload of pot and LT would do some coke.

Come to think of it, Baltimore's been a huge let down thus far too. They used to have it all. Murder, illegal gambling houses, drug distribution, DUIs, and so forth. Now they're only scoring with Steve McNair of all people. but I suppose its early. Go to save something for the stretch run.

DeShea Townsend was on the list as well, for a "simple assault," but I'm not really sure how this is scored. There are WAY more Bengals on the list.

cheers,

My Vikings only have 3 points - that's not up to their potential.

7/24/07: Dolphins WR Kelly Campbell was arrested and charged with felony marijuana possession, felony Ecstasy possession, and a misdemeanor charge of providing false information to a police officer.
That's 2 felonies + 1 misdemeanor for 17 points! Damn, Vick and the Dolphins (61!) are making my Bengals (22) look like Saints (17).

I wanted to bump this, just to see the final standings. Miami won the race, with a solid second for JAcksonville, and with Minnesota capturing the bronze.

Five teams finished with a score of zero, including both Super Bowl entrants, the Giants and Pats. Joining them were Dallas, Philadelphia, and Detroit.

Good luck next year, I am particularly disappointed with Cincinatti's showing this season.

Not surprising in the results.

Coughlin doesn't mess around....so that doesn't surprise me.

Give the Bungles some time, they'll probably build some momentum. I think Tenn. should be able to split out Pacman....as he is his own Turd Team.

I would like to add one

01/26/08: Redskins owner Dan Snyder commits fraud on the fans yet again by firing Greg Williams and Al Saunders, rendering the team completely impotent for yet another season.

KEEPING Saunders would have done the same thing, IMHO.

Nice to see my Vikings with the bronze. I wonder if they would have captured the gold if Childress hadn't installed a 'culture of accountability' and they didn't hand out a 77 page Code of Conduct.

Possibly.

The lack of continuity will hurt far more than Al Saunders playbook. And now we get to watch it all being blown up again. Good luck to Jason Campbell with yet another offense to learn.

Apparently, all 6 of the Packers points can be traced back to a single Nick Barnett incident.

As a side note, I do have to laugh that many Packers come to my city (which has a population about 30,000 less than Green Bay) because "the night life is better".
