I actually had that same dilmena in one of my leagues. I went with Grossman, one because Arizona has a crappy D where Atlanta is getting back Abraham and has been playing pretty solid, and two because Grossman has just been more consistent this year.

M. Vick vs Giants or
Rivers vs 49ers

I'm leaning towards starting Rivers this week.

I bet you that SD runs Tomlinson and Turner down SF's throat. They don't use Rivers unless they need to. Giants D has been up and down this year, so I'd use vick.

Does your league count receptions? Bush is the league leader.

Benson has been solidily gaining carries and has probably taken over as goal line back.

I've got alot of issues.

Bledsoe or Eli Manning. I'm leaning towards Bledsoe simply since HOU sucks.

My other issue is this. In one league, I have 3 WR spots, 2 RB and one W/R

I've got:

WRs (Steve Smith, Drew Bennett, Terry Glenn, R. Moss and H. Baskett)
RBs (Reggie Bush, Lamont Jordon, Travis Henry, Cedric Benson)

Obviously Smith and Glenn will start, as well Bush and Jordon.

Henry is now the starter, but Benson seemed to start getting carries. Plus they play the Cards.

Do I start Moss or Baskett. Do I use my W/R for a RB or WR? I've got too many options.

Just think, your gut is probably telling you "in what universe do I start Baskett over Randy Moss"? However, the actuality is that he may be the better start.

Okay, pick 2 RBs...

L. Johnson @ Pitt
R. Brown @ NYJ
T. Bell v. Oak

Bell looks like a no brainer against the Raiders at home, so I can choose one of Larry or Ronnie. Instincts say never to sit Larry, but he's had few running holes and Pittsburgh is tough against the run. He is a threat in the passing game though, and that's good. Same could be said for Ronnie Brown, although have the Jets stopped anyone this year?

Is Alexander going to play this week? I'm kind of in a bind at RB with Chester and Fred Taylor having byes this week.

Oh, right, the Colts have a bye this week.

The only worry I have with Grossman is that he might only play 3 quarters again (like last week) since the Bears should be up by a bunch over the Cardinals. And "up by a bunch" doesn't necessarily mean a lot of Grossman TDs with the Bears rushing game coming alive and with the defense capable of scoring every week. I'm guessing he'll get something like 225 yards passing, 20 yards rushing, 2TDs, 0 INT/FumLost.

He's out this week, targeting next week as his return.

I actually have good matchups for once, and I really need to win because my team has been horrible so far.

RB (2):
Portis vs TENN
Parker vs KC
T. Bell vs OAK

WR (2):
Colston vs PHI
R. Moss vs DEN
Glenn vs HOU

Can you play Colston at TE (You can in Yahoo!). If not, you have to bench Parker at RB, since he's not getting in the end zone. I'd probably bench Moss with the way Bailey has been playing.

I'd agree on the RBs, play Portis and Bell. Parker's a good match-up too, but the others have great match-ups.

As for the WRs, I'd probably go with Colston and Moss. Colston because the Saints should be playing from behind and the Eagles games always take forever since the Eagles don't run a lot and tend not to run down the clock. I'd favor Moss over Glenn. Yeah, Oakland sucks, but he's their only real threat against a team that should blow them out. I wouldn't worry too much about Champ Bailey, as #1 CBs don't line up against #1 WRs a bunch of the game. I'd avoid Glenn since Owens is the #1 and I forsee a Dallas blow-out (i.e. not a ton of 2nd half passes)

But those are just my guesses

So what's the outlook on Dominic Rhodes vs. Addai? Rhodes just got dropped to the waiver wire, and I have the first position. I desperately need a RB to fill in Portis and Kevin Jones bye week, but that's not for a little while... is he slowly losing ground to Addai?

Addai is definitely the man of the future in Indy. I think he's got a slight edge over Rhodes, but I think that Dungy may go with the hot hand. I'd expect Addai to finish the year as the #1 back, but then again, I've been thinking that about Benson for three years now.

ACTIVE:

Grossman, Rex QB CHI @ARI
Washington, Leon RB NYJ MIA
Westbrook, Brian RB PHI @NO
Colston, Marques WR NO PHI
Carney, John K NO PHI
Giants, DST DST NYG @ATL

RESERVE:

Plummer, Jake QB DEN OAK
Buckhalter, Correll RB PHI @NO
Maroney, Laurence RB NE BYE
Furrey, Mike WR DET BUF
Mason, Derrick WR BAL CAR
Moss, Randy WR OAK @DEN
Johnson, Eric TE SF SD 7

Thoughts - suggestions? I dumped DeAngelo Williams for Leon Washington and the Colts D for the Giants. I realize that Crumpler is playing the Giants, but they have the most favorable schedule over the next several weeks of the teams that were available.

Colston was disappointing last week, but I'm not going to give up on him yet. Moss was a surprise, but I want to see him do that two weeks in a row.

Which QB should I start: Palmer or Grossman ?
I'm leaning towards Grossman because I have Berrian as well and they are playing the Cardinals.

I think Rhodes is worth the pickup if you have roster room

I'd be dropping potential for Rhodes. Meaning Deangelo Williams (most likely) or Brandon Jacobs. Not a keeper league, and Deangelo just got hurt...

Need Rb!!!!!!

I need a freakin running back. Alexander out, Chester Taylor on bye, Jones-Drew on bye, Dillon on Bye, I have leon washington and need to pick another guy up. Needless to say, FA backs are seriously lacking in my leauge. I was eyeing up Travis Henry - Titans...but want to check all of my options first. I have M. Colston at TE, and Gonzalez...I don't want to just drop Gonalez, anyone think I can trade him for decent RB? Or at least a # 3 back? Help me out !

Gonzalez isn't having a good year. You may be able to trade him on name alone, but don't expect more than a flex worthy backup.
