Give me a break - they'll call a rain delay in NYC after a five-minute down-pour. What a bunch of pussies.

doesn't MLB decide if there is going to be a rainout in the playoffs, not the home team?

If so, then MLB is run by a bunch of pussies.

It was raining for awhile, before they called it. I feel bad for the folks who drove to Shea and paid $26 to park (yikes!), only to be told to go home and come back on Friday.

I thought I would be affected since I have Game 2 tix, but those are still good for tomorrow night as planned. They will honor the Game 1 tix for Friday's game.

Yes. This group of Athletics have yet to show they can win when it counts.

No. I have the utmost respect for the man and his stellar career on the field and in the dugout, but he's painful to listen to.

On the other hand, I couldn't be happier that I don't have to listen to Buck and Morgan.

Have they located the Cardinals offense yet? Maybe they're in Brooklyn?

It really sucks that Rolen has been useless in three consecutive postseasons. I like Rolen, but he's too expensive to be a spectator in October.

He's one of the most over-paid people in the game.

And I hate the fucking Mets. Is the color of pond scum in the greater NYC area black? Is that why they added that stupid looking shit to their uniform several years ago?

I fucking hate post-season baseball. It's nothing but a let-down year after damn year (interspersed w/ the occasional highlight).

Billy Wagner is doing a nice job throwing batting practice pitches.

The Cardinals struggle in the postseason but they do have a good record of ruining closers in the NLCS.
