Georgia still in the top 10

TCU falls from #15 to essentially #26

Looks like LSU is staying where it is even though Gerogia has had 2 tough weeks in a row.

The AP writers had more respect for LSU than the coaches, so we'll see when those numbers come out.

Who gave Auburn a first place vote? Ohio State should have them all. Big wins on the road at Texas and Iowa.

I love how Georgia Tech is still ranked below Virginia Tech in the <s>Idiots</s> Coaches Poll. Same record, GT thumped VT in Blacksburg, and GT's only loss was a close one to a pretty good ND team. VT's 4 wins are Northeastern (who?), UNC ( ), Duke (rotfl), and Cincinnati (rotfl).

Idiots.

You're wrong. Tuberville has been voting OSU #1 since the beginning of the season, and will continue to do that until after the Florida game. If Auburn is 7-0 after the UF game, he'll vote us #1.

I can pretty much assure you Larry Blakeney is the one voting Auburn #1.

Quake1028 10-01-06 03:14 PM

 at anyone other than OSU with a first place vote.

And look at Maryland's 3 wins.

Regardless, I'm all for an undefeated WVU playing in a title game just to hear all the whining from other power conference team fans. ;)

das Monkey 10-01-06 03:38 PM

I do think West Virginia is probably one of the top 5 teams in the country, but their schedule doesn't give them a chance to prove it.
