TO taken to ER

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2604395

DALLAS -- Terrell Owens was taken to the emergency room for an undisclosed reason Tuesday night, and doctors treating the Dallas Cowboys receiver were trying to induce vomiting, according to a television report.

Guess there is probably not a doctor on these boards. I always figured that if someone had a reaction to the medication, pumping a stomach would not do anything to fix the problem. It is already in his system.

If this guy is not in the news 7 days a week, he'll make himself sick. What an Attention Whore.

Supposedly, he tried to committ suicide by overdosing on pain medication...according to the media here there is a police report. I guess we will find out.

In general, people who attempt suicide are in a vastly different place psychologically than they portray on the outside. Often times the over-the-top outside is protecting the crumbling inside. Feelings of isolation ("no one understands"), and a sense of hopelessness (which can come from either rational or irrationale thinking), etc. Each case should be treated individually, but the above factors are usually present.

They may deny it in the end, but I wouldn't be suprised if it happened.

Nothing here. I was hoping that Trotter would Theismann (is that an acceptable verb in this context? You know what I mean) his leg in a couple of weeks ... but this is just sad.

Oh, I'm sure there will be a few. But it won't be that many I wouldn't think.

This would be funny if it wasn't so sad. I hate making jokes and hate to think that this is just a stunt but with this guy all bets are off.

That's exactly it. If it was anybody else doing this, my first thoughts would have been to wish the person well and to hope that they get the help that's needed. But being TO, my first thought was this being another publicity stunt.

If true, I hope that he will seek help in trying to overcome his problems.

I guess it would explain a lot of his behavior. I hope that he gets it together.
