No arguing whether or not it was a full 720. :) He did a 720 spin, but he did dunk it right before he completed the spin. VERY impressive nonetheless.

540 on the dunk, 720 on the land. Still, pretty impressive.

That was pretty damn sweet...

but everytime I go to youtube, I get stuck watching 20 minutes worth of the Nike Joga Bonito ads from the world cup...there's some good shit there.

I used to do that same dunk, but forgot about it since it's been awile. Of course the rim was about 8.5' instead of 10'. The best dunk I recall doing was a 360 under the leg at about 8'.

As sweet as that dunk was (and it's never been done before in an NBA game or Dunk contest before) I'm not quite sure that it's the best dunk that I've seen. It might be the best in game dunk right a long with Vince Carter jumping over that 7' guy.

This video below may be the best one that I've seen (it's definitely high up there): What was so funny about this winning dunk was that the guys doing the commentating or judging were saying that the last dunk by another guy was one of the 10 greatest dunks of all time or something like that and then they completely forgot about it after Jason Richardson's winning dunk. :lol:

Pfft, thats nothing. I once did a reverse Triple Lindy dunk. Sure it was on one of those goals that you hang on the back of you Door. But it was still sick nonetheless.

Does anyone have a clip of the dunk Jason Richardson MISSED which let Fred Jones win the dunk contest a few years ago? I always say if he made that it would have been the greatest dunk ever. He almost made it.

if it was from the olympics.. its safe to say the stadium would have had more people, it would have been nicer facilities, the olympic logo would have been somewhere on the floor, and least some people in the crowd wouldnt have looked so 'street', and it would have had olympic ballers, instead of and1 ballers ;)

Still the best dunker I've ever seen is Kris Bruton. Went to Benedict college in South Carolina. I know he's played with the Globetrotters for a while now. If I could ever find some of his stuff, maybe I should look on youtube

The last slow motion replay shows he doesn't jump until 180* into it. It's not even a 540, it's only a 360. 180 on the floor, 360 in the air, 180 on the way down. He does make it look good, though.

Regardless of what it was, the dunk was pretty nice. Easily 100x's better than I can do.
