NCAA Hoops, FINAL FOUR/NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME- April 1&3

George Mason vs Florida followed by LSU vs UCLA

based on seeds UCLA should be the favorite but based on how the teams are playing I'd say Florida is favored

However, if I had started this message thread I would have separated the final game from the two Final Four games.

I don't bet so what do all the numbers mean? I know the +/-4.5 and +/- 1.5 are the lines but what about the others

You're not me
so STFU

I thought about doing but I thought 3 games was not too many to overload the thread

You really shouldn't start such an important thread without the gambling info and game start times.

In a pool of 40 people, it is now completely decided before the final four even tips off - not single person has any of the four teams even in the final game, let alone winning it. in my 20 years of filling out brackets, that is a first.

I wrapped up my pool I'm in with my friends with Villanova's loss yesterday. A couple of us have UCLA going to the championship game and one person has Florida going to the championship game, but other than that everyone is done. The winner's total points will be the lowest in the 4 years I've been running this pool.

I was watching the VCR recording of ESPN Radio's Mike & Mike in the Morning and it appears that CBS is going to have one nightmare of a Final Four in terms of ratings. Mike Greenberg said that compared to last year's Regional Finals, this year's Regional Finals had ratings down anywhere between 10 to 27 percent! "Greeny" said that between the lack of "big name" schools like Duke, North Carolina, Kansas, Kentucky, Illinois, and Michigan State and the fact just about all of the tournament pools got totally busted due to the many upsets in this year's tournament, casual fan interest has actually gone down quite a bit. It is now essentially a Final Four for the serious college basketball fan.

Not a surprise. With so many people's brackets done already, the casual fan isn't about to hang around Saturday late afternoon/night to watch basketball games.

Meh. If someone can't be interested in a huge underdog story, then fuck 'em.

What about the heartbroken fans? Are you going to lump them in w/ the casual fans?

After hearing Bill Walton on Mike & Mike yesterday morning, I'm convinced UCLA is coming to win it all. How can you you disagree with that?

Wow, figured there be more people following the game on here. GMU looked good in the first half. They hung in there when Florida went up 10. Florida looking to start the second though.

Nice tourney run by GM, but it's so obviously over.
Thirteen points down, early 2nd half. The magic has seemingly run out.

Too bad...I was hoping George Mason would win. Would have been a great story.
