Cheer for Seattle, Toronto, Tampa Bay, and KC.

I don't expect Tampa Bay to win another game against New York though. Chicago should sweep KC. Seattle and Toronto has a good shot at beating better teams tonight.

Bob Wickman? 40 Saves? Best Closer in the A.L.? What? HAHA!

Clemens still plans to go ahead and pitch tonight against the Marlins despite the death of his mother earlier today.

http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2161767

HOUSTON -- Roger Clemens' mother died early Wednesday, and the Houston Astros ace planned to pitch later that night in her honor.

Bess Clemens died at 4:30 a.m. in Georgetown, Texas, because of complications from emphysema, the Astros said. She was 75.

The Rocket was scheduled to start a key game against Florida at home on Wednesday night. The Marlins lead the NL wild-card race, with Houston 1˝ games behind.

Angels lose again by one run to the Mariners. That's 3 straight losses to Seattle after running off 4 straight wins vs the Red Sox and White Sox.

Again, this was a walk off win for the Mariners. This time, after the Angels tied it in the top of the 9th, K-Rod allows a double in the bottom of the 9th, and then intentionally walks Greg Dobbs (last nights hero with the game winner) and allows a single to the next Seattle hitter.

If the A's beat the Indians tonight, they are tied for first...again.

Gabe Kapler of the Red Sox left the game in the top of the 5th inning due to an apparent left leg injury. He was replaced in the middle of rounding the bases after Tony Graffanino´s 2 run shot to left.

What the hell happened?

That's my question. And it's a ruptured Achilles tendon.
