The Braves enter the day with the second best record in the NL and tied for third in the Majors. In a division where every team is at or above .500, no less. Simply amazing.

Man, Conor Jackson is sitting again. Seriously, why did they bring him up again? He only won them the game yesterday...

Never underestimate the idiocy of the Diamondbacks organization.

And seriously, what is up with Giambi? No one is this good. At this rate he'll lead the entire AL in homers by playing half a season. He was never this good even when he actually was good

Meh. Once most of his HR's start going further than 350, I'll start to watch.

Streakiest player in professional sports. Now that Chipper's back, expect him to fall back into his old bad habits.

He's facing Maddux. Another R/R match up. They have Clark who can switch hit and has way more power from the left side. It's a better matchup on paper. Plus they are going to ease this kid in, and not just throw him out there every night. He's prone to make errors (such as last night, which lead to a run). Plus with Webb on the mound, you want the best fielders out there. Can't blame Bo Mel for this decision, it was totally the right decision.

You sounding kinda like Monty Burns again with that lefty/righty crap. Conor Jackson can hit righties. If one is only gonna play him against lefties, you mine as well leave him in AAA so he can actually play more than once a week. Hell, you can play Jackson in the OF over Tracy if you don't want him at 1B.

Of course the D-Backs are way up, and even in a blowout, they don't give Jackson some pity at bats over Clark or Tracy.

I'm not saying he can't hit righties. But, he's a liability in the field and when Webb is pitching, you want your best fielders out there. Again, I see no problem with Clark out there right now. Expect Jackson to get a ton of starts back at home.

If he is such a liability on defense, why not just leave him in AAA and let him work on his defense by actually playing? Same with the R/R bullshit, leave him in AAA to work on it if he's not ready.

How do you like Giambi now? 2 more HR today, average up to .286 ! He could finish with 25-30 HR and close to a .300 average after the horrible start he had.

It is one thing when someone like Vazquez is pitching, but it's a whole other type of game when Webb is pitching. From my recollection, one of Jackson's liabilities is fielding on the ground. It's not that hard to understand why they aren't playing him.

Another good outing by Chacin and the Blue Jays avoid the sweep with a 5-1 win.

Up nine runs in the 8th, and yet Jackson can't even buy a freakin' mercy at bat. So sad...
