What Team Do You Hate The Most?

You can only pick one team in any sport, so choose wisely...

For me -- a die-hard, dyed-in-the-wool Carolina fan -- it's a simple choice. Hating Duke basketball is almost as easy as sipping on iced tea. I know that a lot of other people feel the same way all across the country... but do Michigan boosters really hate Ohio State that much? Do Red Sox fans really and truly hate the Yankees? What do you think?

If you could only pick one team in any sport to hate... who would it be, and why?

Florida State football. I playfully "hate" many programs like the Yankees or Duke basketball, but it's not possible to truly hate classy organizations like that. I root against them all the time, but they're programs of legitimate greatness that deserve respect even if I hope they lose every single game. However, the Criminoles are without class and exhibit everything that is wrong with college sports from the AD to the coaching staff to many of the players. Unlike rivalry hate, they're deserving of legitimate disgust, and I'm more than happy to oblige.

NFL = Redskins, but I actually feel sorry for their dedicated fanbase because they deserve better than what Dan Snyder's ownership has given them.

MLB = Yankees

NHL = Red Wings

Coll. BB = Duke

Coll. FB = FSU. Bobby Bowden always has a different set of rules for talented players who screw up. As long as they can help him win they will never get kicked off the team.

If I had to just pick one it would be Duke basketball.

This should be a poll. And the Yankees should be the only option.

The Flyers haven't won since the 70's, Rangers & Braves have one each since who knows when, and the Yank's haven't won since they started to try to buy championships (the mid to late 90's team were mostly home grown players & a few additions).

Edited to pick only one team: Green Bay Packers - they've killed my Bears over the last decade, plus all the Brett Farve media lovin'.

The Dallas Stinkin' Cowboys. Who else?

And far behind them would be the Steelers, the Devils, and the Braves.

I hate the Flyers becasue of Bobby Clark, I hate the Yankees just because and I hate the Braves because them and Sid Bream beat my Pirates god knows how many times in the early 90's... in addition to teams that buy their championships.

Yeah people... one team only!

And it would make a good poll, but I wanted to get a few responses first.

Pittsburgh Steelers

On a side note, the two teams probably mentioned the most so far, Yankees and Cowboys...are my most favorite teams.
