I probably look pissy because she broke her foot 3 weeks ago and we had to walk (her on crutches) at a snail's pace for 3 blocks from the T station. That's a great girl for ya though...dedication

It's sad, I've lived just 30 minutes north of boston for 4 years and I still haven't made it to a Sox game. Those are some nice pics and I'd love a "Jeter drinks wine coolers" T-shirt LOL

The monster seats were simply incredible...you have to check your tickets before they even let you up the stairs (so no schlubs walk up there for the view). They have special food only available up there - monster cheeseburgers, etc. The seats are all very roomy. The world is your oyster up there. The coolest thing was leaning over the wall and looking straight down the monster.

Since this is a redsox thread, I'll ask here. What is the best way to go about getting tickets to the next weds day game vs the d-rays? It's sold out, and brokers are kind of pricey for the group I'm with. Is there scalping outside the stadium?

thanks
dave

Yes, there is scalping outside the stadium but you're still going to pay a lot for tickets. Normal $21-$25 Bleacher seats (still damn expensive for bleachers, but it's the Sox and they have the highest ticket prices in the MLB) will run you at least $60.

Now you can try to hang out at a bar for the first two innings and go out and see if anyone is trying to dump the tickets that they weren't able to scalp at such a high price. I tried that for the first game of the ATL series but when we went out, there wasn't anyone around!!

Check ebay as well. The closer to the game, the greater likelihood of being able to grab tickets cheaper. Just don't do it too close or you won't get the tickets from the seller in time if they try and mail them to you.

Oh yeah. Great pics! I'd enjoy them more if the outcome was different.

Those are nice pics.

Hopefully one of these years me or one of my many friends who enter will win them.. Still haven't got any up there, it looked like it would be pretty sweet, the only time I was up there, during the fenway tour.

I would go through a broker or something, but don't care that much..

Glad to hear you had fun.

You make it there for batting practice? Those seats catch a ton of baseballs I would think, I might actually take my glove if I had a monster seat.

We got in for the Yankee batting practice..but not many came up in the seats. Seemed like they were working on moving runners along with balls to the right side.

Rivera did catch a few and throw them to the fans..
