- Corey Patterson-Cubs-was sent to the minors (along with Dubois) to learn how to hit.
- Jay Payton-R.Sox-not sure where he is right now. I'm thinking thumbing it on some highway.

Let's see if Francona can field a real team today. Yesterday everyone had a day off and they barely lost (shortened by rain) a game they should be trying to win. And, oh yeah Jesus Damon, the girls may think you are a god but when you open your mouth you sound like a retard.

Yes, it made absolutely no sense to sit half your lineup against a team that's nipping at your heels for your division lead.

Another game another injury for the Dodgers. Let's guess who will get injured next:

Brazoban
Lowe
Penny
Werth
Choi or
Jason Phillips?

What, you're too special to get injured? You're better than your teammates? You think it's all cool to be healthy? Asshole.

You see the rumors kicking around SoSH today?

Damon was on PTI (do they pre-tape their interviews, BTW?) and he sure wasn't acting like a guy who had just been traded........

I guess I missed that. Which thread was it buried in?

Good win for the Sox today. And Palmeiro is 5 hits away from 3000.

Angels getting rocked by the Mariners again. 7-0 in the 5th. Seattle scored 5 runs in the top half of the 5th, 4 of them coming on a grand slam by Randy Winn.

I wonder why the Angels can play the good teams well, but the shitty ones give them trouble.

Wow. Dmitri Young and Jason Giambi have been going in completely opposite directions these last few weeks.

Goddamit!!!

Anytime you see your pitching ace being struck by a baseball and taken out of the game is bad news. We won't find out Halladay x-rays results until tomorrow and I'm hoping for the best (no broken bones) and that he will be able to recuperate on time during the all star break and not miss any starts.

Any hope of contending for the AL East will be gone is Halladay is gone for any extended period of time.

BTW, we lost the game tonight too on the bottom of the ninth. What the fuck was wrong with our defense???
