I saw Rod Brind'Amour while on vacation

I was going to let you know I just returned from vacation last week (6/19 - 6/26) in Myrtle Beach and I saw Rod Brind'Amour on the beach! He was staying at my hotel. I saw him about 3 or 4 days out there. The first day I was like, that guy looks like Brind'Amour, but it was surreal to see him out there so I wasn't positive. He was probably there more, but I didn't make it to the beach some days when I golfed.
One of the kids in my group, that I didn't know, went up to him while he was sitting there and asked him. He said he was Rod, and shook the kids hand. I was kind of "irritated" at the kid for doing it since he didn't know who he was without me telling him.
Later on as Rod passed by my chair, he looked at me, and I said "Hey. How's it going?" He said something like, "good, how's it going?" and kept on walking to the water to watch his kids.
I would have liked to gone up to him too, but I didn't want to draw any attention to him while he was on vacation with his family. I was hoping he would come over, I would have offered him a Molson!
BTW, my wife enjoyed looking at his muscles.

Here's a picture I didn't realize I had. You'll probably have to save this then zoom in a little. He's in the circle sitting on his cooler. I blocked out his kid.

Who?

Edit: Looked it up, NHL Player (should've guessed from your user name). No wonder I don't know who he is.

He used to play for the Flyers. Generally considered to be one of the ugliest players (looks wise) in hockey.

He's also the best conditioned player in the league according to most NHLers.

Unfortunately, I noticed this, on the beach. It's obvious he is still working out during the extended off season.
