Hopefully David Wells continues to pitch well for the FIRST PLACE Boston Red Sox.

And the Yankees could be in 4th place at the end of the day.

Only if the Blue Jays are able to come out of their stupor and beat the Nationals to avoid the sweep.

Damn the Yanks are terrible. The way the Sox are playing before long the Yanks will be 9 or 10 out and any already faint hope of turning it around will be gone.

Where is the......

"You scored as David Wells. You are David Wells.
You are a big ole hunk of burnin' love who only shows up
when you want to. You love to drink and brawl especially
when you have a deadline to meet the very next day.
Your favorite hobbies include eating potato chips and flipping
channels on the greasy remote. Here's to you....the High Life man."

Injuries are really catching up with the O's. That is where the payroll disparity with the Bosox is really going to show. Critical 2-week period coming up.

I found it kind of funny that the Fox guys went on and on and on about the O's injuries. Hello. Look who they're playing!

You're definitely right about the next few weeks. It will be interesting to see what the AL East looks like at the All-Star break.

Yeah but look at the rest of the division for each team. There is about $330M in payroll from 2 teams in the AL East. The Braves don't have to worry about that in their division. They can compete in a mediocre division with a lot of injuries.
