Who else is getting paid and are not playing/will play in any games?

Tim Salmon is getting paid over $10-million and he hasn't played a single game this season yet.

For the Dodgers, Darren Dryfart is getting paid like $12-million and has not pitched in a single game yet.

Reggie Miller, who retired this year, will have the final year of his contract paid for by the Pacers.

Who else?

Jamal Mashburn hasn't played since last season. But he might retire soon and then the insurance will pay his salary.

I think Magglio Ordonez has played in only 3 games so far for the Tigers and he's making 15 million

The Dodgers picked up an insurance policy for Dreifert that would pay them close to 8 million due to his injury.

That goes up to $7.3 and 7.8 million for the next 2 seasons.

Only players that were deemed on the injury reserve list are currently getting paid by their NHL teams. I believe some of the bigger names including Rob Blake and Jeremy Roenick.

Otherwise, 99.9% of the players are not getting paid by NHL teams. Although many were paid by their respective Euro teams.
