Favorite sports announcer/announcing team?

Maybe because i grew up in the 90's but i always enjoyed the team of Marv Albert and Mike Fratello on NBC (aren't they now on tnt?)
For some reason, i also really liked Paul Page for indy car races on ABC

Easily Marty Brennaman and Joe Nuxhall calling Reds games (radio), for me. (Until this year... missing Joe )

As a Dodger (and baseball) fan I'll definitely second that. I like Krukow for the Giants too, nothing better than hearing him suffer when they are losing (especially to the Dodgers). It's equally painful to hear him happy about them winning though.

Honestly, none. Of all the sports I would watch, I don't like any announcers. Granted I only watch MLB and NFL on a regular basis. Also its usually just one guy on the team that ruins it for me:

I don't like Micheal Kay on YES, but I usually like the color guys (esp. David Justice and Paul O'Neil)

I don't like Joe Buck and Tim McCarver (there's a shocker)

I used to like Madden but not so much anymore.

I don't like Bill Walton.

Thom Brenneman and Steve Lyons make a great tandem on the Fox national MLB games.

Joe Buck is my favorite, but they have got to get him away from McCarver.

I also wish Costas would be free of his NBC studio gig.

All-time? Summerall/Madden

Current? Schulman/Rafftery/Bilas or Schulman/Elmore

All-time was Chick Hearn, without a doubt. Best now is probably Madden/Michaels.

BA, I thought Dick Vitale would be your fav, since you're a Duke fan and all.

I've always liked Gary Thorne and Bill Clement on ESPN's NHL broadcasts but Madden and Summerall will probably never be topped as my all time favorites.

I liked Costas until up until the 97 Bulls/Jazz NBA finals series where he should have just wore a Malone jersey and painted his face purple during the broadcast he was so openly cheering for Utah."We need a basket here"

I'll agree with Red Dog and go with the Schulman/Rafftery/Bilas team.

I'm a die-hard White Sox fan, so you have to realize how much this pains my very soul to say, but no announcing team says baseball more to me than Steve Stone/Harry Carey.

When I was a kid, during Spring Training, when its still damn cold in Chicago, I'd hear Stone/Carey calling a game on TV and knew that baseball and warm weather were coming.
