Battle of Bunker Hill

also known as Battle of Breed's Hill (June 17, 1775), first major battle of the American Revolution, fought in Charlestown (now part of Boston) during the Siege of Boston. Although the British eventually won the battle, it was a Pyrrhic victory that lent considerable encouragement to the revolutionary cause. I lost track of the date. At first, I thought it was the 30th anniversary of Freddie Lynn's rookie 3 HR 10 RBI game against the Tigers, but I'm pretty sure that's tomorrow, the 18th.......

Why are the O's playing Colorado? I thought the AL East was playing the NL Central teams?

Well, yeah, I'm not complaining about that. It just seems like there is no rhyme or reason to Interleague matchups, which is one reason why I don't like it.

Royals are now 11-4 with 2 sweeps under Buddy Bell. Tonights game has a interesting pitching matchup for Texas Longhorn fans, as Rookie pitcher JP Howell, who went through the minors in like 10 weeks, takes on the Roger Clemons.

The sad truth is that the league was obviously going for the "big" match-ups and cramming the rest of the schedule in wherever it could. Then they can ignore a surprising team like the O's getting garbage teams when defending it and say, "Yeah, but the BoSox/Cubs, Yanks/Cards..."

yea, odd
everyone from the NL central's last game was a loss
everyone from the NL west's last game was a loss, except the giants
everyone from the NL east's last game was a win

only with interleague play can it work out like that

That was already done a few weeks ago when Brad Halsey faced Roger in Texas.

I think the problem is that blood is the only thing running through his veins.

He's hurting? What about the fans who shelled out hundreds of dollars for tickets and have to watch him bat?
